That's not possible. If Seattle gets the bye, both LAR and SF are wildcard teams.

The only playoff certainty if I understand it correctly is that GB will be the #7 seed and will play the #2 seed, which is likely to be Philly or the Bears. That and the Rams are a wildcard with final seeding to TBD.

On the playoff chart as of now, the Rams will play at Philly.

Everything is have seen and the ESPN Playoff machine shows the Rams will be the 5 seed and play the winner of Tampa and Carolina as Long as they beat Atlanta and Arizona. The Loser of Niners vs Seahawks would be the 6th seed and be on the road in Philly or Chicago pending the outcome of Chicago and Detroit. If the Rams lose a game in the next 2 they slide to the 6 seed. Biggest test will be tomorrow at Atlanta. That could be a challenge. Arizona has already packed it in.

If the Rams lose in Atlanta tonight they can still get the 5 seed, if they beat Arizona and San Francisco loses to Seattle.

Or they will play like shit in the second half and get rolled...fuckers.

Where was that team when the Rams came to town?

hopefully that pisses off Ram coaches and players as much as it does me.

Been the best team in football for a lot of the season and that's where you end up?!

If the Rams get a road trip that has good weather, we can win. Another trip to Philly or Chicago in the snow...not so sure. We blew it with the Seahawks loss.

Years ago, the same thing happened, except Minnesota was a foe. We would win the West early and end up losing the homefield to the Vikings. Then we end up playing in Minnesota in the snow.

I know it’s against the odds and unlikely but I have a good feeling about this game. Seahawks are coming off a big game win with extra rest but they are aware that they have an even bigger game coming up against the Niners next weekend. This is a classic trap game scenario. I think the Seahawks stumble against Carolina, Niners defeat the Bears at home and the Seahawks knock off the Niners to finish the season while the Rams take care of business in their final 2 games. Rams would get the Number 1 seed, Bears would be the 2 seed and face the Packers for a 3rd time while the Niners would be heading to Philadelphia and Seattle would be facing either the Panthers again or the Bucs.

What do you think?
I think this thread did not age well.

That game hinged on the the 3rd and forever that Seattle caught a break on the facemask call that extended the drive. Was a legit call, no doubt. But broke the momentum for sure

I wanted to believe that Carolina could beat Seattle but I wasn't quite buying it. :)
They would have won if the Hawks were wearing Rams jerseys.

Then we wouldn’t have seen all those crunch time dropped passes that they made against us w ease.

And Bryce Young would have played like Warner instead of overthrowing open WRs.

And CBs would have had pick 6’s like they had against us.

That game was close until late when the Panthers played like the team that lost every other game this season. We got them on their good day.
