I think she's bigger than Tavon Austin and Jojo Natson combined, so... maybe? How many kickers besides Jeff Wilkins really make tackles anyway?
No, Tavon Austin is much bigger than her. I think 2 Inches Taller and about 35 Lbs heavier. I think Natson is the same height, but heavier with much more muscle.

It takes very good technique (mechanics) to kick a ball 55+. A lot of players cannot do that.
Maybe a lot of Non-Kickers can't do that. I would bet money that every College Kicker could make the same kick she did.

It is not a slam on women that they can't compete with Men at the highest levels of any sport. They are built differently. That is why we split men and women in sports.

The problem is that we are supposed to, on one hand, believe that she is capable of legitimately competing for a kicking job in the NFL, but on the other hand, every kicker in every camp has done the same thing, and it hasn't been plastered all over social media.

Maybe someday a female athlete with earn a spot on a men's professional team. When that day happens, it will be an amazing feat. It won't be amazing, however, if it is done as a publicity stunt, if she hasn't earned it.

She's proven more than the average NCAA kicker so far.

She can't realistically be the one who breaks any barrier. First, she's too old, pushing 40, second the kick had a longer run up time than normal (5 step drop) a third there wasn't enough distance.

Better than me, sure, but no better than anything you can see from an average college kicker. NFL kickers can usually kick 60-70+ yards in practice.

It would be a PR move to put her on a roster.

And she can make that kick. What is impressive is its not the ball she normally kicks. I played soccer in high school college and competive leagues till I was in my thirties. I could kick a soccer ball about 65 yards. That was more than most players. Now some say a football can fly farther than a soccer ball. I have tried kicking a football and the issue is that a football has a much smaller sweet spot. I would be hard pressed to kick a 55 yarder. It would take a lot of practice.

Now I am not saying she should be in the NFL but as a kicker it was impressive.

I know you're joking (I THINK you're joking! ;) but in all honestly, the amount of rage some men have at women for not being sexually available to them would probably lead to some vicious hits.

Not joking, and it has nothing to do with them being available. It has everything with them thinking they are equals, and in some delusional cases, superior to men in every way.

Well for one she needed like 7 steps to kick the ball, so she's already not NFL ready.

True. And can you IMAGINE the first time a roughing the kicker collision happens? And she's flipped forward in the air cartwheel style? Or her plant leg gets landed on by a 250 pound attempted blocker player and blows ACL? I don't like the thought of all of that.
