Seriously, couple hours ago OTC had it at $7.185M. Not sure why it changed, or which # is correct.
Hope it is the $15.6M!

Spotrac still has the lower amount ...

Something wrong with Spotrac. I was tracking yesterday and with Jones cap hit it was @$11m so I believe the OTC $15m is the correct adjusted cap.

Nope. Checked it this morning ($15.6). Again Early-evening ($7.185) ... surprised and went over to Spotrac (also $7.185).

Then saw your post ... confirmed that OTC was back up to $15.6; and went back to Spotrac which was still $7.185.

Going to set my alarm for 2:15 AM!!!

Probably added the two extra spots to get to 53... and you were right it must have been 7M. I must have loaded the old page.

Guessing roster bonuses got paid out.

The Eagles were at 23M this morning, but now they are at 13M.

So must be teams having account for players making the roster and getting bonuses.

The good news is we are at 40M for 25'... by comparison the Eagles are at 7.5M in 25'. The Niners at at -28M. The Niners are at +39M now, so they have to carry that over to next year and they still will only have 10M or less to spend in 25'.

The $2.3M saved by trading Jones is all of a sudden significant. Otherwise we would be under $3M in cap space.

Actually the change was due to having to include the contracts of 6 IR guys and the 2 suspended players in the overall cap. That's how 15M dropped to 5M.

Prior to that only the top 51 guys counted. Now it's the 53 man roster, IR, PUP, and suspended list.
