If the Rams can upgrade Barron's position why not Ogletree? Yeah....it's too big of a CAP hit, I know.
You answered the question there yourself. Ogletree's base pay and roster bonus this year are guaranteed. After this year he has $1.6 million each of the last 3 years guaranteed for a $4.8 million total. Tree isn't going this year when his full cap hit is going to be paid no matter what. Next year? Barron however has a total of $3 million of a dead cap hit.
