Meanwhile Cousins is arguing with receivers on the sidelines.

Thielen is a great wideout, but he's a mouthy $#!T. Haven't even looked at the play they were arguing about or whatever but I'll bet that Cousins was correct.

Funny thing in all this is everyone once again forgets all about the defense. IF the Vikes had the defense they had last year they'd be in the playoffs and everyone would be talking all positive about Cousins and how gritty he is and all the wins they have.

Maybe, maybe not. Keenum looked like the answer last year. He was a better fit with that team and showed it all year, including the playoffs.

Meanwhile Cousins is arguing with receivers on the sidelines.

Then we have Nick Cole's, another Not the answer QB going to the Superbowl last year, and playing well enough to get a team to the playoffs. Yet he's still regarded as less talented than Wentz.

Sometimes personality and style can work with a team. If teammates like and believe in you they play better, more relaxed. Cousins is uptight and not all that likable. Keenum is laid back and players like him.

Problem is that Keenum turned back into a pumpkin this year.

The Vikings are 0-5 vs playoff bound teams
The Chiefs are 2-4
Rams are 5-2
Saints are 3-1
Cowboys are 1-3
Bears are 3-1
Seahawks are 3-4
Patriots are 6-1
Texans are 2-2
Ravens are 2-3
Chargers are 3-3
Colts are 2-1

Actually your analysis is wrong.

The Rams Schedule:

Current Playoff teams the Rams have played

vs Chargers won
vs Seahawks won
vs Saints loss
vs Seahawks won
vs Chiefs won
vs Bears loss

As of today the Rams are 4-2 vs Playoff teams that are already in the tournament. Who is the 5th team?

Current Playoff teams the Saints have played

vs Rams won
vs Cowboys loss

As of today the Saints are 1-1 vs Playoff teams that are already in the tournament. Where did you get a 3-1 record for the Saints?

Get your math straight.

I think he had the Vikings in the playoffs so that would have made it 5 and 2.

Now that the Vikings are out and the eagles are in the rams record against play-off teams is 4 and 3.

Yeah - Nick Foles has always been

CINDERELLA ! ! !
I believe & had $20,000 on Foles !! Fisher Fucked me !! The hit from Clay was huge.

I also didn’t like the Trade for Goff !!

Of course my prediction is for The Rams to
Win the Super Bowl & glad McVay is running the show

I’m not a Cousins fan.

I wonder if the Bears will regret beating the Vikings? Iggles are one of the hottest teams with Foles at the moment. A much tougher opponent than the Vikings woulda been. If the Bears win we see them the following week. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see the Cowboys/Seahawks winner.

Yeah me either. But he's a smart dude who studies very hard so in that argument with Thielen he was most likely in the right. Not that I or any of us really care lol.

Free Agency does not seem to be the way to answer your QB questions in this league.
Well, lets face it. If a QB is allowed to go to FA by his team, there is usually a reason. Teams don't let go of a Franchise QB even if it gets to expensive. They will however allow any other position player go for money reasons, but even that can be iffy.

It’s weird but I can’t laugh at the Vikes. Even in the 70s when Tarkenton, Foreman, Page and Eller always seemed to beat us up in the playoffs no matter where, the Coliseum or in the frozen tundra. Couldn’t hate them though. Maybe because of the second coolest helmets in football. And I’ve never met an asshole Vikes fan either. But I still get a little giddy whenever we beat them—just can’t let go of all those 70s heartbreaks.

Can’t say any of that about Dallas though (except for the getting giddy whenever we beat them part :yess:).

All of the Viking fans that I know are clones of Seahawk fans. You don’t hear a peep when the Vikings suck, and then when they are competitive, suddenly all of the fans come out of nowhere and think they are NFL experts.

The best part of their failure is that last year all of their corny fans were referring to the GM, Spielman, as Spielgod. LOL I wonder if he is back to being a man yet.

Vikings had a lot of issues and a lot of things go wrong this year. They also have a few key free agents to replace or retain so it will be an interesting off season.

Interesting. Do you live closer to Minnesota? Because admittedly, I don’t run into many Vikes fans here in So Cal.

Nope. I have close friends from North Dakota and would travel there every winter. We’d drive all over Minnesota to ski and visit their friends.

Yeah but maybe he wouldn’t have with a better cast. Either way, I think he deserved another opportunity, and I never viewed Cousins as an answer.
I think its debatable who had a better cast. Sanders and Thomas may be on the wrong side of 30, but they were both perennial 1,000 yard receivers and Sutton appears to be a keeper. Thomas of course was discarded when the season went sideways, but while there, Keenum didn't take advantage. Not to mention from a RB perspective, Keenum had a solid running game between Lindsay & Freeman. So edge to Vikes on WR, but Denver gets the nod with running game

Not usually, but there are exceptions. The Saints answered theirs with a free-agent Brees little over a decade ago, and the Broncos managed to squeeze out a couple good years and another Super Bowl with Manning. But usually it's best to draft a guy and develop him.
