Just finished moving into new house and the fridge that came with it just quit making ice. Figures right? It's a Whirlpool side by side with the ice and water dispenser in the door. I just changed the water filter (the kind that just slides in from the front, on the bottom). The wife says she doesn't think it is cooling right either but I can't tell much difference. Anybody encountered or remedied this before?
 
Have you checked to make sure it's getting water , check the inlet valve and hoses

After that , it's gets a little more tricky

Water is coming out the dispenser on the front door. I'm thinking this thing is going to the Salvation Army for some handy man looking for a bargain to play with and I'll be to Lowes dishing out another grand. Tis the season!
