I know there were a lot of disappointed fans (including me!) last Sunday when the Rams got beat by the Colts but I don't expect to see that kind of play from the Rams when they open the season against the Lions! The only position that really concerns me right now is the offensive line and I honestly believe that Jeff Fisher and Paul Boudreaux will have the offensive line playing much better before the season opener!
Call me crazy but I still think the Rams will go 8-8 or 9-7!

Why not. Since now we have all this room on the bandwagon after that " Franchise shattering" defeat to the Colts in what has been taken as the Super bowl preseason most have the Rams at 2-14 again.
Every year when the sch. comes out people see sure wins and loses....But it never works that way. There's a whole lot of sure playoff teams that will be sub .500.
Playing good defense, run the ball well and dink and dunk will get 8 wins for the Rams.

I told my dad we're still an 8-8, or at least 7-9 team last night and he basically told me I'm demented. Said I'm 'a little too optimistic'. And he's been a Rams fan long before me.

Well, the key question, then, is how often is he right. Cause I know longterm 50 year Rams fans (ie fans for 50 years) whose predictions have been wrong every single year. :mrgreen:

Finally!! Someone who feels the same as me. Rams fan for 50 years here. And my dad and grandfather were Rams fans from the beginning. Right or wrong, I always have and always will believe the Rams will win every game they ever play, and I don't care what anyone else thinks about that!!Barrison6 said:

If the Rams can play their upcoming season like they just played their 1st Quarter against the Chiefs tonight I think an 8-8 (or better!) record is definitely achievable for the Rams this season. I honestly don't think a 9-7 or 10-6 record is unrealistic.
