Just nothing seems easy or in sync this year. There were two incompletes that would have been TDs last year. Today, defense has made this TB team look like a juggernaut.
I know some veteran posters scold some users for being too negative - and it's true we've gotten spoiled, considering we suffered through two miserable decades (most of the '90s and a lot of the '00s - early '10s), but I think it's fair to be critical of things that aren't just a one-game issue. This downward trend offensively, including Goff's poor play and the play calling, isn't a new problem. Plus, I think posters aren't saying anything that announcers and the Rams' players and coaches haven't been saying as well.
If Goff wasn't our qb, would you call his performance good of late? Our offensive line? Some of McVay's play calling?
It is what it is. This team is talented, but it's not playing well, and certainly not up to its potential. And I'm not sure we have answers or quick fixes. We'll really see who we are on Thursday. Hopefully, we'll rebound, but right now this is not a team that looks it will be playing in December/January.
