I never thought Blanton should be released to begin with. I feel much better about the TE2 position now.

This is probably old news. My understanding is that abuse of substances testing is conducted during the off-season and into training camp from April-August.

Either Brycen was hung over at the time of testing or had other substances without a prescription in his system (does not exclude recreational drugs). That reminds me, Aaron Rodgers must be immune to AOS testing and consequences.

I don't know how complete he is at this point, but Jared Pinkney would be the more traditional TE we have on our roster at the moment.

I suspect that McSnead has been scouring outside trade options, practice squad players he might steal from other teams, and any free agents still hanging about, and that's why he hasn't promoted from within yet. I'm still hoping he names Roger Carter as our next man up though. jmo.

That's why in an earlier post I suggested reducing Higbee's snaps some, to help reduce his injury risk. Blanton knows the system and will get some work, but it's hard to determine just how much that will be. I imagine Skowronek may be used in multiple formations again also. jmo.

Usually when I watch those Rams Revealed interviews I come away really rooting for the guy after hearing what he had to say. That wasn’t the case for the Hopkins piece. I don’t know, he seemed to have this been there done that air about him. I could be totally wrong maybe that’s how he handled being nervous for this interview, but that’s how I felt after watching this.

Don’t know who was taking about Jared Cook,but 12 years as a starter & 6 different teams. He had some real nice playoff games as well.

Lance Kendrick was at Green Bay & never did as much as Cook. That wide open TD drop against the Steelers still kills me.Nick Foles made the perfect pass,to think if the Eagles players dropped passes like that he would have never been a SuperBowl MVP.
Went to the Chargers training camp last season & he is just a classic journey TE.Cooks isn’t the best & I’m sure Gerald Everett will have better numbers than Jared had last season.
Dude made a nice career for himself. Someone who wants him over say Rookie Carter needs to really come down to Mother Earth,especially under Sean Mcvay as the HC.

I also expect Carter & Harris to get there chances? Mcvay try’s to build within.

Ben Sko is working with Greg Olson on a mentoring basis.I’ve been saying
this from the start of training camp.

IMO I was wrong a little bit with Kupp & Robinson?Then again I’m freaking pissed I did double check on my recordings.Didn’t get to watch basically the 1st qrt/half of the Bills.

Mcvay always lets you know & Ben Sko & Olson are tight.He is trying to find away to get him onto the field no matter what.It’s cool the relationships & coach The Rams have as team (we) first.

Harris isn't going to sniff the offensive huddle unless we have serious injury issues. And those would have to be in a game where he was brought up to play special teams and we are desperate. I see them bringing street free agents in to play TE, or even WR, before Harris does this season if they have a choice.

Carter however I think they like as a blocking/reserve TE so he will be given some opportunities.
