Todd Bowles Coaching Record 26-41....Albeit with the New York Jets, but I'm shocked they did not go with Bryon Leftwich, but maybe they wanted Bowles because of the experience especially with the retirement & all. IMO, it makes the Bucs weaker because I do believe Arians was a good Head Coach, even though I did not care for him.

Maybe it was a condition by Arians if he were to step aside.

It could have been, not sure why he would want Bowles to take over specifically, but you could be right. Again, IMO, it makes the Bucs weaker and Brady is going to give it one last try and then the following year the Bucs will be a dumpster fire and Bowles will be fired again, but I do respect Bowles as a DC even though the blitz against the Rams leaving his safety one on one against Kupp was a disaster.

Because they are friends? Wasn’t Bowles his DC in Arizona? Maybe he thinks they could win another Super Bowl and it would look good on Bowles record as a head coach?

26-41 coaching record? wow!
And that includes a 10-5 start with the Jets, which incidentally led to the 16th game of the season that exposed Bowles completely. They went to Buffalo for a no brainer win and a playoff berth. But the Jets were patently awful, looked completely unprepared and watched Ryan Fitzpatrick handing out INT's like Oprah Winfrey

Leftwich is left to run the offense without input from Arians, not that Arians exercised alot.....but now there's no doubt it's Leftwich.....which makes his resume stronger (with success). He will be gone next year. Black man from the offensive side of the ball? Who's going to need a new coach next year?

Good question. I guess so, unless it has to be an outside hire.
You’d have to believe that the rule is outside hire right. Otherwise you can just constantly bank 3rd round comps by hiring your minority coach and demoting another back & forth. Simply for getting the picks. I’d assume (hope) the league is smart enough to have thought that through.

Mehhh who gives a shit? Bowles or Arians, the Rams still beat them. The only reason it was close last time was because of sloppy play by the Rams. Otherwise, it would have been a blowout. So IMO Bowles brings nothing new to the equation.

Brady comes back, Arians retires? Coincidence? Even the bastard coaches who won Super Bowls with him cant stand the prick!
Maybe the other way around? Maybe the owner says if BA isn’t there would you come back?

I'm not buying what they're selling.
After Brady retired, there was reporting about him being unhappy with Arians.
He unretires.. then Arians conveniently steps away?

Come on.
