Not sure why they won't let Webster return punts. Makes me that Natson is the PR and Webster won't make it unless he bumps Hodge off the roster.

I want to keep both Williams and Petersen

But I believe we can only keep one max

We're going to have to cut loose of some quality talent this year.

Prediction: Cardinals will scoop up the first DB cut we make next week.

Could see both the Cards and Niners picking up some Ram cuts based on their picking order for waivers.

Very impressive outing for the Rams tonight. The OL got off to a slow start, but after the first few possessions gathered their momentum and were playing pretty well together. Throwing 5 guys out there those first two weeks looked exactly like they were just throwing 5 guys out there, today we saw the appearance of some chemistry finally kicking in. The Rams offense played better than the score would indicate for those who didn't have an opportunity to watch. The depth of our WR's is off the chart, and both Allen and Wolford had some nice moments running the O. If it were possible, there are at least 8 WR's I wouldn't mind keeping around. I don't know how bad the injury was to Neary, hopefully he's well enough to return following his suspension.

Not sure what more I can say about our defense. Tonight they only allowed 6 points, so they have now given up all of 34 points in our three pre-season games. That's pretty damn impressive. We may have lost John Carraway for awhile as his injury appeared fairly serious, but I won't want to speculate. The depth of our LB corps has been whittled down some, but the other young players have risen to the occasion and are playing quite well. Dakota Allen had an especially good night. There was no explanation as to why Sebastian Joseph-Day did not suit up, but the DLine played well overall. Our DB's also acquitted themselves nicely, the depth for this team going forward is at its least, ... impressive.

I said it in another thread that bad play at center can make other guys on the o-line look bad. Neary had his moments and frankly I hope I've seen the last of him after next week. There are reason's he's bounced around.

Gaines is the starting NT that much is very clear. I would be surprised if Natson makes this team. Webster is clearly the better WR and equally as good in returns.

People on his board aren't going to like it but Demby saved his job tonight. Brewer helped himself but he looks like a PS guy to learn to play center. He might be that RG option next year over extending Blythe. Brewer has the size and strength to play OG with an excellent play radius. His footwork is suspect and he needs to work on his quickness and movement skills. But he's the size of RG you want in the running attack. Brewer has been a bit inconsistent but he hasn't been bad.

I think Bachman who didn't play will probably end up on the PS. As much as Mike Thomas has flashed I'm still not sold on him primarily because of his drops. His flashes have come against lower competition. But I can see why the coaches might keep Thomas over Hodge.

Ogbo continues to look good. His missed practices are showing. He's behind in his development of his technique. I'm sure he will see snaps at DE opposite Fowler during the season. They had him working on his pass drops tonight, and it's clear he's a huge work in progress in that area.

It's clear that John Kelly is going to be the #4 RB. Being in his second year is showing. He's playing faster and more decisive.

I think Dakota Allen will play run downs and Hager passing downs in rotation at MO ILB. I thnk Patrick will have to move back to ILB to make the team behind Littleton. I think Christain gets released and Parker takes his spot.

Contacts will probably keep Nickell and Hill on the team despite being overrated and Williams and Peterson being better.

In the press conference McVay said that he had tightness in his hamstring and that they didn't want to risk injury. He also said that had he been healthy they were still undecided on playing him.

Wow so if he was healthy he might still not have played?, that's interesting
