Rams TE Brody Eldridge suspended first four games of season for PEDs. Acquired on waivers in offseason from Colts.

I wonder if the Rams and Colts knew that. He played Guard and Center, as well as, first team All Big 12 Fullback in college, so he's a run blocking specialist with some versatility.

Well, I guess we can kiss our championship goodbye. :razzed:

Why do athletes think they can get away with taking PEDs? Testing has increased throughout the years and testing is done more heavily since the new CBA was signed.

Competition/sustainable employment and income. Not entirely but accounted for. He would be battling Kendricks, Hoo-Hoo,Mulligan...if this didn't happen maybe he grabs the 4th...this happens a lot more than reported...our Rams just happened to be involved on this one. I also "think" Ben Guiogli (sp?) has been used as a TE as well. Brody is expendable..no harm no foul, happy it happened now and not in a dire straits situation, which won't happen this season that bad vodoo is in the past.

I think some are honest mistakes, some get bad advice from their trainers, or they think they are beating the testing system.

He;s not competing with Kendricks, though. They don't play the same position.

Fisher likes a pure in-line blocking TE who acts as 6th lineman. Of the candidates for that--him, Mulligan, Harkey--I suspect he's the front runner.

Kendricks is a completely different deal. A move TE who blocks from different spots, but usually blocks the perimeter (LBs, DBs). Also, who can catch instead of block on any given play. Eldridge is not in line for that and Kendricks can't do what Eldridge does.

As of right now, unless camp changes this, Kendricks has been basically anointed as a starter by Brian S. But it's at a position Eldridge doesn't play.

Thanks for the above info zn..appreciate it. I should have said our TE's will likely be 4,just a guess and he'll likely be released.yup another guess.

Most definitely ^^^^^, David Vobora, everyone makes mistakes I don't recall if he wad given inaccurate info and the source. Bad advice contributes as well. Russian roulette..sooner than later the UA doesn't lie.

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well ... bye.

Yeah - His name doesn't have near enough syllables in it for my tastes anyway.

MAYBE he was taking the PED's to compensate because his name isn't all that's short:lmao:

I don't think Vobora ever took PEDs. He used a supplement that was legal, and he checked with the NFL to make sure it was. But the supplier put in a substance that was banned and didn't tell their consumers.

But, yeah, that's pretty much what you said. I apologize.

Yeah, he sued didn't he? Mostly to untarnish his name.
