He interviewed the next day after the Seattle win.Wow, so he interviewed after the Seattle game, and also before the Seattle game. But he only took four hours in total to even think about the interview, because he did all the research constantly throughout the season. He must have a book ready for a prospective interview with each NFL team then, so he could properly interview for the Squatters in particular, and tell management how he would use each player, and what his vision for the future of that team was. But I guess it was easy, he could just have his "team" of people do all the prep for him, and he could be 100% focused on Green Bay, minus the four hours of time. Sounds plausible enough.
My point is.. where was the time lost for him getting ready for the Green Bay game?
And... if preparing for the interview was a distraction, why did the D perform so well against Seattle?
The interview was, literally, the day after the Seattle game. A week before Green Bay. His interviewing was done at that point and could focus on the Green Bay game you suggest he blew.
If preparing for his interview would've been a problem.. it would've been a problem for the Seattle game.
