Yeah. I wonder how that scenario would play out. Would they have to release him, if they don't want him back? And in doing so, would that get him off the hook from paying back the bonus?

All depends on if he submitted his paperwork to retire.

So, they're a lil smarter than the Dolphins and their dealings with Cutler...needed the wifey to want to go back into the pit.
