Seems odd though as I saw reports yesterday that she'd given him an ultimatum but with no firm time-line. Which frankly seemed a nice compromise...he gets his last season and then she gets her husband back.

Yes…on a human level, I feel bad for him. If he’s too depressed to play next week, though, I’d be okay with that!

I don't take any joy in it.. but it is an interesting situation.. and the timing of it coming off an offseason where Brady pulled off some incredibly shady shit and suffered no consequences is wild.

I only feel bad for his kids and maybe Gisele. I absolutely hate Bitchy Brady, and he deserves all the scorn in the world for this.

Cmon now, if his playing 1 more year is what ended things, or heck was even the straw that broke the camel's back, then there was no marriage bond in the 1st place.
It's an insult to the real marriages out there which have survived "real life" problems

I don’t know… commitments are commitments and how do we know it’s just one year?

Life is complicated and when money isn’t an issue, or rather when economic pressure isn’t an issue, things are different, imo.
