This is starting to drag well beyond the point of reason. I’m not saying he shouldn’t appeal, but I feel like the constant court dates and media scrutiny took a bit of a mental toll on Tom. If an appeal would mean more of the same thing and potentially missing practice/ opportunities to improve I’m not sure he wants to go down this whole rabbit hole again.

Can request a review "en banc," which is just a full slate of Second Circuit judges, but that’s not necessarily going to be granted. After that, all that’s left is the US Supreme Court, which only hears about 1% of cases in which review is requested.

actually I believe he restructured last year before winning his appeal..not 100% sure tho
Yeah, he restructured specifically because the suspension only affects SALARY, not bonuses.
So his entire money for this year was restructured to a bonus. Brady is playing for the league minumum salary in order to mitigate the impact of the suspension. Had it not gone through, no harm. And he plans to play for a few years, anyway, so why not?
Plus it undercuts the Commish's authority a little bit. Sure, he's missing games, but he was able to keep most of his money. Most players would take that deal...
