Texas flood indeed. It's good to live on a hill - eh?
We just got destroyed last night here in Hays county where I live in Central Texas
Last night my home was hit by a purple cell - thank God we live in a hilltop and things turned out okay - lost power through the night
One if my friends has his home underwater - over 350 homes in Wimberly underwater when the Blamco River created at 41 ft
INSANE
Here is a pic of my ranch from doppler radar - note the purple circle / I literally saw a wall of white coming at the house

Here in Dallas, it's rained almost everyday for over a month now. All the local lakes are so full, you can't even launch your boat because the docks are under water. It's starting to affect my mood; I'll gladly send rain your way if I could.Man, winter ended already in LA, I was hoping for some more rain.
Same in Oklahoma last night. I loved watching it tho.

It feels like weather in general has been pretty crazy this year. I guess it shouldn't be too surprising considering the grand scope of things. We could use it, that's for sure! They're predicting next year could be the wettest in LA since the 70's, so hopefully it happens. Especially with the drought. They said with the climate change it's harder to predict, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Considering weather has always changed unpredictably, expect more of the same for the rest of your days here on the rock. And don't expect any meteorologist to let you know what to expect much more than 72 hours out.It feels like weather in general has been pretty crazy this year. normally i love a good light show - not last night
