Pittman is going to be a great WR, he has a lot of coveted traits and attributes that will make him successful not to mention his NFL pedigree. I wish we could draft him but he's probably the 5th best WR available.

Got it a 4.55 is fast now. We're going to replace a 4.3 40 guy with a 4.5 and call it good? McVay's offenses has had Cooks and DJax as it's speed guys and we're gonna throw that out the window and go with 2 versions of Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. Nobody to take the top off the defense anymore? McVay no longer wants a speed guy?

My whole point was that Pittman wasn’t a speed guy to take the top off a defense. So far people aren’t beating that with me most seem to be agreeing. So far everybody seems to be telling me McVay no longer wants or needs a speedier WR. While Reynolds doesn’t have top end 40 time speed he was very effective going over the top coming into the league. That was one of the strengths of his college game. Michael Pittman as I’ve said is a nice WR and he could make some team very happy. I just don’t think his abilities are what the Rams need to compliment Woods, Kupp, Higbee and Everett. I think as Jrry said it creates a log jam of similar type receivers.

I'd push back on this a little. I think Pittman offers more verticality than he's given credit for. Definitely not a specialist though.
