Who was the LB last year that was all in tweeting about becoming a Ram but didn’t happen?

That was 2 or so years ago and it was that DE or something from the Redskins.. can't think of his damn name.

EDIT: It was Junior Galette and he last played in 2017.

I don't think that's the case. I think he really wants to be a Ram and stick it to Sea 2x a year.

I think the very slow moving AD extension is causing a lot of the issue with the signing of Wagner and potentially others.

If we can’t come to terms with Donald, and he just retires (I don’t expect this), everything changes. He has a ton of leverage and he knows it. Time is in his side.

I however, know nothing compared to the rest of you on this stuff, so I’ll just humbly say it’s just a hunch of mine.

I tend to think he has no leverage. He wants to forego $75M on his current contract and doing what he loves in order to take his kids to school? Don’t think he’s wired that way and I wish the rams called his bluff.

Well you may be right. I think he is already plenty rich and the time with his family might mean quite a lot for him. Especially since his family is in Pittsburgh. Who knows? But if that is the case, why not just sign a deal?

There is nothing to sign unless the rams agree to negotiate. His current contract has 3 more years on it. He either shows up and gets paid or stays home and doesn’t. The rams are being overly generous by even entertaining a new contract. It is not like his current contract is even insulting, it easily has him among the top paid defenders. Only reason to even consider it (and why they are) is because he is one of a kind, and possibly worth rewarding for that reason alone if it doesn’t mess things up overall too badly. Or even, possibly, if they wait a year, it might get even more insane to restructure or extend a la recent receiver contracts.

It's been roughly 24 hours since we heard anything. Odd.

This whole Wagner visit, and the lack of updates has been nerve-wracking. Now, I can't even read the latest either. What the hell?
