If Scheelhaase gets the OC, could McVay throw his friend a life-line (high-profile position with a top offense) by bringing him in as an Assistant Head Coach / Passing Game?
The Rams don't have a lot of really experienced offensive coaches right now.
Based on No reporting what-so-ever ... just think it's a McVay-like move ... nothing more than a gut feeling ...
However, I am dealing with a little indigestion this morning ... THAT could be it too.
Fix this corner room and it won't matter which opponent or OC we face.
I knew LaFleur would consider Martindale, McVay mentioned that Martindale always gave him trouble, would be the perfect hire for LaFleur, but sucks to have Martindale in the NFC West.

Maybe he comes here and that would be good for Kliff, his offense really isn't an under center offense at all and it would be good for him to learn for a year in this system. Not sure how helpful having him here would be for us though as I don't seeing us running much of his stuff.

I like Pleasant but wonder if there's a ceiling to what he can provide for our secondary. We've focused on improving players but maybe we should turn all stones over and see if there's more we can do at the coaching side (absent changing DC which isn't happening).
I really hope he gets the gig. But, if I were a Cardinals fan I would be disappointed in the hires so far.
Might not be bad to bring in a different voice. Maybe a guy who is a bit tougher on the group. A ball buster.
Not afraid of LaFleur in Arizona. But glad they don't have a QB.
Also thought they hired Wink. I think there's a vast gulf between Wink and Aubrey. So I hope Aubrey's the dude.
