Vegas definitely has some pieces on offense. Rough damn division for a rookie coach though.
Let's see how they mess it up this time.
in 3 years counting the upcoming draft they will have chosen the top skill position player at his position.
Bowers, Jeantry and Mendoza. If Mendoza pans out it would be tough for even the raiders to mess that up, but they have a special talent when it comes to underperforming.

It's a good scenario. LaFleur isn't going to lead that clown show out of the darkness but he has done a great job for us so I think that opportunity is good for him. Kubiak leaving is a win, though Seattle is gonna remain a problem because of MacDonald
I don't think McDonald was the problem......we scored 85 points in 3 games vs his defense....28+ PPG. Kubiak was the problem

The fact our offense scored on them is beside the point. That's a fine defense, has been all season, and he has already proven to be one of the better young head coaches.

He's a problem. And I knew he was gonna be a problem this past offseason.

I look at it this way, it has to be better. Blackburn was awful and I only wish McVay had made the move after last season.
After last year, I kept waiting for them to fire Blackburn.

When they didn't, I was wondering what they saw in Blackburn to rehire him. Turns out - they didn't know either.

The sad part is they had the right guy in 2024 in Craig Aukerman, who McVay knew from Miami of Ohio. After Scott Frost left in November of 2024 to pursue a collegiate Head Coaching gig, the Rams brought in Aukerman and the unit improved in kickoff returns as it was reported that Aukerman had made some suggestions that improved the returns.

However, instead of firing Blackburn and promoting Aukerman the Rams did stood pat and Miami poached Aukerman and hired him as their special teams coach and now he is in Atlanta with the Falcons.
