Yep. Me too. Then I headed up to Seattle for the season opener only to watch his defense get completely frustrated as Bulger couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn if he was standing right next to it. You could see the defense go from amped up to WTF as the game went on.
28-0 is never a good first step.

Sources: Bucs' Coen, Jags agree on coach deal
Liam Coen has verbally agreed on a new contract to become head coach of the Jaguars after telling the Buccaneers on Thursday night that he would be leaving Tampa Bay, sources told ESPN.
Jaguars needed this, good move by Khan to get rid of Baalke and hire Coen. This is his first opportunity to be a Head Coach and IMO, I think he will do a solid job in Jacksonville.
BTW this little tidbit in the article....The Jaguars went 4-13 in 2024, the 10th time in Khan's 13 seasons as owner his team has posted double-digit losses.

Mike Greenberg enters his 15th season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and second as the team’s assistant general manager. Before his promotion, Greenberg served two seasons as the Buccaneers’ vice president of football administration. That followed eight years as director of football administration and two as the coordinator of football administration. He originally joined the Buccaneers in 2010 as a player personnel assistant and has steadily climbed the ranks of the organization.

Probably not a bad thing for the Raiders. I doubt he makes them a playoff team. They have too many holes. But he could at least make them more competitive. Kinda like what Fisher did for us before it all fell apart. I can see Pete becoming the 8-9 guy like Fisher is the 7-9 guy.

Mike McCarthy to New Orleans and either Schottenheimer or Moore to Dallas? Unless Jerry comes in with an outsider at the last minute to save Dallas and their fans from imploding.

I never thought he’d get another shot. Did Pete’s persuasive manner of speaking get to Mark Davis the same way he was able to get into the mind of Jody Allen?
His reputation as a culture builder took a nose dive after the Russ vs LOB drama. I always felt his rah, rah, you can do it act was all BS, but it works on some people I guess.
As a football mind his defensive scheme is too static and he lacked answers on offense. He’s a Dinosaur imo.
Dumb move by the Raiders but at this point there aren’t many moves left.
