Not much truly unique content out there. I felt like Pluribus hit that mark and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Also - I have said it before and I’ll say it again. Dungeon Crawler Carl is going to be the biggest thing in 5 years. Anyone who reads or listens to audible should check it out - it has been my great escape.
I keep seeing Pluribus in my feed, and the description just doesnt draw me in, I hear its good though and should probably give it a go
Night Manager season 2 has started up, 3 episodes are out.
Wild that its been 10 years since season 1 was out

Finally binged Pluribus last week. I actually managed to go into it with zero spoilers about what it was even about. I had no idea at all except that it was a Vince Gilligan show and Rhea Seehorn was in it. I had seen a few of the short teasers but those literally said nothing about what the show was about. I liked having that mystery going in (so I won't spoil anything) because my limited assumptions about what it was about were completely way off the mark lol. It grabbed my attention from the start once I knew it was nothing what I expected it to be.

Pacing with the show is a little slow at times but that's on purpose and is not anything new if you are a fan of Vince Gilligan's "Better Call Saul". It's almost boring at times but it's a great study into a character and how they'd react to world changing stuff that you just want to watch where she goes next. He's the master of a slow burn through great visuals and non-dialogue story telling.

I got to the end and was so pissed that there were no more episodes... like seriously? I've checked multiple times to make sure there wasn't one more episode because there were only 9 and the last one made me craving for more. I'm slightly annoyed at how they ended the season because it very much leaves you hanging with a very nonchalant, undramatic ending but a very poignant statement of where it'll go next. You think "there's got to be a more exciting finale left? right?". But it left me searching for when season 2 will come out. I can't wait.

Two episodes in to Netflix’s “His & Hers” and it’s pretty good so far. It’s a limited series, so six episodes about 40 min in length.

There’s a murder in a small town. The lead detective (Jon Bernthal) seems to be a little shady and there’s some build up happening. I’ve been trying to guess who the killer is, but as I get further into it, I keep changing my mind.

Landman episode 8, season 2 just finished.
Good dark comedy/drama. Paramount +
The role of Tommy had to been written with Billy Bob Thorton in mind.

We somehow got through all of His & Hers, but it was tough. That was some of the worst acting I have ever seen, haha.

watched the first two episodes of Starfleet Academy , and ....

It was fine

both episodes were a little generic , we've seen them a hundred before

this show takes place like a thousand years after Kirk , so they have to introduce you to a new time line , and an entire cast of new characters

the first episode

the 5 main cadets blah blah blah , have to work together blah blah blah , save the universe , blah blah blah

The second episode ,

pretty Princes girl blah blah blah , meets bad boy cadet from the wrong side of the tracks , blah blah blah , save the universe blah blah blah

I did get a little nostalgic there at the end because I thought the new space ship / academy was kinda cool , when the ship gets back to Earth those wing thingies detach and the saucer thingy lands on Earth , and inside that sauce thingy is an entire college campus , that looks like the inside of a 1980's shopping mall with a full food court in the middle

the first two episodes were like teenagers in the 1980's hanging out at the mall , and I was like , hey , I remember those day.......................lol

over all , I would probably give the first two episodes a C+, they were fine , I liked them enough where I'll probably keep watching , probably

Just watched them as well. I'm pretty much in the same spot as you with it. The first couple episodes of a new series are usually setting things up. But there's a lot of typical tv in this and we'll see if my Star Trek nerdself can keep going with it.

got about half way through the episode , and that was about enough of that................lol

Yeah she looked very familiar and I looked her up on imdb and found nothing she'd been in before that I'd know her from. As I mentioned I'm a huge Trekkie so that hopefully will power me through it but the same tired characters and storylines are starting to show through way too much for me on tv.

First Episode of Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms

spinoff of the Game Of Thrones stuff

There is like 6 half hour episodes , the first episode was a little longer at about 40 minutes

pretty decent episode , not really a whole lot happens , mostly just a introduction to the main characters , Duncan and Egg , but does a good job

unlike most of the characters in Games of Thrones , Duncan and Egg are actually likable
