Just watched the first 3 of Alien Earth and I'm intrigued by where it's going.

Read all the books and seems like each season is one book, they are doing the books justice for the most part, so far, from what I remember at least. First book ended just like the show. Won't do any spoilers but its all good.
Finally got through episode 4 of Alien : Earth

I'll have to check this one out. Loved the first one. If its a weekly series on Prime I'll probably just wait till they're all aired. I hate waiting a week to see what happens.

Me and wife watched first 3 episodes of alien earth tonight....and we hate it. Not scary one bit, super expensive new technology synths as cringy adults acting like children dumbfucks while being sent into high tension life or death multi billion dollar situation for no reason but for some 10 year old girl new synth wants to save her brother. There is no horror to it, and the xenomorpth looks like a Temu ordered xenomorth. Literally don't give a shit about anyone. Wife has already written off the show and won't continue it. I will watch the rest to see if it somehow gets better but doubt it.
I'm glad others are enjoying it, but for me this show is a massive disappointment. Some good acting in it from a few but not nearly enough to cover up all the massive flaws. I could go with many more aspects that annoy me about it but don't want to bore people with my ranting.

I'm still enjoying Star Trek : Strange New Worlds
With only 10 episodes per season , I do wish they would focus a few more episodes on the strange new worlds part and fewer episodes on the comedy parts
With that being said , the comedy episodes are probably the better episodes
The series , and not just this season , but all three seasons has kind of been all over the place story telling wise
But I kinda get it , as the show , like the original , is episodic, each episode story has to be tied up in 54 minutes
Even though Strange New Worlds has its flaws , I find it alot of fun , and the show I look forward to the most each week
