Last season was too much for me. Not going to upset myself any further.
This year is 10 times worse trying to follow the books.

Check my spoiler.

In fact, I am treating WOT as I did the Jason Bourne movies.

Same characters - completely 100% different world

But if they are going to do it differently, at least speed up the story line - it is so slow right now

I wish they did it like the Harry Potter Hunger Games and GOT books where they stuck with the books for the most part. Sure there were changes but mostly minor. However, GOT ran out of books and that's when the show went Haywire.

I’m late to the party with American Horror Story.

I’ve watch the 1st 8 seasons the past month and I am on season 9.

It’s cheesy (as most horror is), but I’m enjoying it.

I'm two decades behind but finally got around to watching Deadwood and The Movie. Loved the show, so glad they made the movie to kind of wrap the show up finally but can't believe they ended it and then left fans hanging for 13ish years. Due to that I'm glad I didn't find it until the movie was already made.

Anyway, great show, great writing, and great characters. I need to find a gif of Wu screaming "San Francisco Cocksucker!!!" for this website for obvious reasons.
Deadwood is a show? Damn, all this time I never watched because I thought it was a Viagra informercial.

I don't really consider it a horror story - at least not the season I watched

Wheel of Time

So who is watching the second season and are baffled by the HUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE changes they made to the show from the book

I mean - really. She gets a sword thru her and a knife to her throat and she doesn't die? WTF? The Forsaken are normal but powerful AES SEDAI that have turned to the dark side. I mean the dark one can bring them back to life except for Banefire but that would require the dark one scraping them up a new body to host.

I only read book one and it was so long ago that I don’t recall all of the details. I have noticed some changes. But I’m enjoying it. I’ve come to expect as much from made for TV adaptations. Most of the changes that get made seem to be for convenience for the writers, to save production cost l, to add drama or to appeal to a broader audience.

I just found “Totems” on Amazon Prime. Cold War spy theme with foreign languages so subtitles are necessary, at least for me.
Production value is good so I’m giving it a shot. 1 season, 8 episodes.

A couple familiar names in the cast I'll give it a shot!

Finished Twisted Metal on Peacock and really enjoyed it. They set it up well for a season 2.

This was a very good season for Ahsoka! Sets up a great season 2 and story for Mando as well as the movie they're working on.

Okay WOT got better in the later episodes

It's trying to follow the books a little bit but it is definitely a different world.
