i generally hate watching tv series but this one was fantastic. was only able to watch the first season here. and i agree, only watch if you liked the movies.

i love bill burr, so naturally i love this show.

this one was ok, i guess. nothing special.

pretty disappointed in this one. it was ok but it just reinforced my notion that tv series are a waste of time. it did however make me watch the movie again. that was soooo much better. back in the day i went into that movie blind and it was fantastic. if i had seen the trailer it would have completely wrecked the movie for me.

Project Blue Book on the History Chanel looks interesting. Any body think it would be worth paying Amazon Prime $20 to watch the first season? Or just start with season 2? Thanks in advance.

Marvelous Mrs Maisel is a pretty funny at times, but usually playing games on my phone during it, but wifey likes it, so I deal

S1 was good in that it was so dark I enjoyed the change from her mostly. I don't think I finished the first episode is season 2.

Just finished two seasons of Counterpart on Amazon (unfortunately cancelled at 2 season but a really enjoyable watch). Subtle science fiction show with excellent acting, dialogue, and storyline. Starts a little slow but wow.

I'm a scifi nut so it really irritates me how those shows have such a high cancellation rate. Not like this required a ton of special effects or anything.

I really enjoy crime/murder mystery/period pieces, usually of the sort produced in the UK, but recently found an interesting Russian subtitled series called 'Detective Anna' on Prime. From Poldark to Father Brown to Broadchurch to Peaky Blinders, i've seen them all and can't get enough.
This time, she's a beautiful, privileged 19 year old with a 'gift', circa 1880's Russia. Not as sophisticated as many western programs, but for some reason i've always had an attraction for the Slavic facial features many young Eastern European women exhibit. I'm about half way thru season 1 and there are about 24-25 two hour programs.

Watched “The Stranger” on Netflix, was pretty good. Anyone who enjoyed Broadchurch will definitely like it
On Amazon, I finished the Man in the High Castle. Enjoyed it very much. Quite different from most shows

Vice has a wrestling documentary series that I think can be watched on youtube called Dark Side of The Ring. I just got done watching the two parter about Chris Benoit. It was an amazing documentary, and if you are a fan of wrestling @Angry Ram, or used to be like myself, or even a fan of true crime I recommend it.
