Beast in Me- 8/10 Claire Danes doing Claire Danes things while Matthew Rhys shows his incredible range-
The Lowdown- 9/10- Ethan Hawke is great. 1st episode was tough to get thru but after that was terrific
Tulsa King Season 3- (1 episode to go)- 9/10- Really enjoying and am impressed with the different storylines season after season
Chad Powers- 10/10- just loved it, really bummed it was only 6 episodes
The Last Frontier-4/10- 7 episodes in, barely could get thru the last 2. Started out great, but could have been finished in 2-3 episodes
 
So I heard nothing but terrible things about this last season of the Witcher. As somebody who never read the books or played the games I still enjoyed the season. It was obvious that there was a different Geralt and it wasn't a good change. That said the story was still entertaining and the ladies in the show are top notch entertainment.

Did they just replace Geralt the actor or did they change the character?

The actor it was Henry Cavill but he had issues with the direction the studio was going with it. Gerald is now played by Liam Hemsworth.

Yeah I knew Cavill was out I just didn’t know if they got rid of Geralt and had a new Witcher. I was in to the show for the first season or two but gave up on it.

Never watched Friday Night Lights, what a great show.
Pretty wild, despite being 20 years old it really isnt out dated at all

First 4 episodes of Stranger Things is on Netflix now. 3 more on Christmas day. Final on Dec. 31. Not sure if I wanna watch the first 4 or wait till they're all out on Netflix.
 

Finally finished the 12 hour American Revolution Documentary​


overall it was pretty good

but they should have just called it the George Washington Documentary

if you were looking only for a documentary that covers just the battle of the revolution , this would be the one

they do cover the contribution of slaves , American Indians , and lesser parts , women

but they barely even mentioned what the continental congress and what they were doing the entire 8 years of the war

and I'm not even exaggerating , out of the 12 hour documentary , maybe a entire 10 minutes even mentions the continental congress

Jefferson , Adams and Franklin were barely even mentioned

if you were looking for a good documentary on the battles of the revolution , this is a good one , if you were looking for anything on the politics , on both sides of the revolution , you are not going to learn anything here

I enjoyed it but like other shows of it's type I didn't play the games or read the books. Haven't heard if it's getting another season or not.

I haven't played or read the boots either. However, I did hear it only goes a little bit by the major plot points so fans of the game weren't happy with the show.

Once it was cancelled, the producers tried to find another streaming service to do the third season. My wife was not happy with how the second season ended without the third season being made. However, I have heard that Netflix is looking into making the third season or not. They are seeing if the ratings are high enough to do the third season since the show is so expensive to make.

So far, it is the 4th rated show so things are possibly looking up.

I had started Halo, really enjoyed it and then for some reason dropped it. I'll have to circle back on it

Just finished Black Rabbit.... That could and should have been half as many episodes. Can't say I recommend it, but it wasn't horrible.
