Might be the most diverse creator. Sure he’s got a ton of cowboy shows but also has
Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown and Special Ops Lioness
Amazing dude
I finished two seasons of Lioness. Very good show. I'd highly recommend it if you like the genre. I thought the second season was slightly better than the first. Which was very good too.

I liked season 2, but thought it was a bit flat. And the ending was kind of ridiculous. Alas, I’ll look forward to season 3

I’m watching Taboo on Prime. I’m a big Tom Hardy fan and love the history around the Colonial period. This happens in England and Hardy plays a brooding hero with a dark past, who takes on the all-powerful East India Trading Company. It’s based on two real characters but is historically fictional. He’s always a step ahead of the snooty Brits at EIC and hatches plots reminiscent of Thomas Shelby.

Unfortunately it only ran one season. But I’m loving it.

Apparently a second season is coming, just taking forever cause of Hardy's schedule and other shit. We shall see though. Crossing my fingers as I loved the first season.

That’s a long time. I think it was made in 2017

My favorite fantasy book series by far. But you are right. This show just has the same characters in it as the book.

Story wise - it might as well be a different universe
Yeah I recently for the heck of it started a reread and it just was painful rereading those couple of books we've seen in the show so far.

Taboo is excellent!
I’ve watched it at least 3 times.
It gets better the second time, as you pick up a few things you may have missed the first time.

There are still plans for a second season.
Hopefully it happens.

Yeah not too much action or excitement but I am enjoying some of the back story they're showing this season. I never read the books.
