What an idiot lol

I wonder if him being 6-6 and on the hot seat had anything to do with this story finally leaking?

After more than two decades, the perspectives of many people can change. Guess that's just the way it is.

For those of us that were in downtown Manhattan that morning, our initial perspective will last our lifetime.

...You can't be serious. This can't be true. It just can't. How did this get past the NFL? Hell, how did nobody report this at the college - a New York college, no less?

If true, he deserves to be fired for sheer idiocy alone.

If this is true then it just shows the sheer stupidity of the man. But why did it take 4 years to come out? I imagine a talented team that is only 6-6 and possibly be 6-7 after the weekend would put him on the hot seat. They're similar to the Chargers. Plenty enough talent but doesn't win as much as they should.

if you're looking to get the trains to run on time... don't ask for Sean for any inspirations from history

I only read a little of Tyler Dunne's hit piece, the part that didn't require a subscription. It looked like embittered former assistants who only spoke on the guarantee of anonymity.

McDermott fired his OC Ken Dorsey a few weeks ago, he might be one of those talking to Dunne.

Man I hate embittered former assistants... but I hate rank stupidity more.

From the Bobby Knight school of motivational speaking?
Knight would say ...
'If you don't do what I say and play well, I will take away your scholarship and kick the shit out of you'

Well.. that would be just fine with me.. because McDermott made Dorsey the fall guy.

I’ve talked to Marine buddies about Full Metal Jacket and especially boot camp (Parris Island almost exclusively) and it seems the habit of using former Marines who went on sniping rampages as a standard isn’t uncommon. Navy boot used to be just PT and classes…

I disagree with that 100%. I don’t think any Marine needs to be inspired by someone who used their training to kill innocent civilians. As well, I don’t think that the 9/11 terrorists in any way need to be an example of competence or diligence… for ANYONE.
