Yeah that’s BS. After the history of games in weather now the Bills get a gimme.

It's about the weakness of society, really. If it was the 60's or 70's, the game would probably still be going on in Buffalo.
Seems like just common sense but what do I know. I mean they call this weather situation Thundersnow. I don't know what that shit is but I'm not going out in it by all means go out there with your puffed out chest showing us how bad ass you are. @Loyal this weekend in Buffalo :D

My brother-in-law once told me that when he was a kid, the school's principal let it be known that if he woke up the next day and the level couldn't b seen from his bed (window sill), school would not be closed. Smart Alec kids would push snow into a pile next to his window to try and get a snow day, but don't remember if it worked. In todays world of less snow fall and hyperventilating weather news people. every storm that has a chance of snow, telling you how bad it all is and to stay inside and be scared to death of it.

I was born in LA area, like you probably were. I learned to drive in snow over many years of chaining up over mountain passes and never wrecked once. Ijust know how freaked people get over a little bit of weather. Hell, Californians l lose their shyte when they get a little rain and see how many chain reaction accidents they can get in, because they don't understand the concept of following distance. Most city people react similarly all over the country, I guess.....

I hear ya on Californians... they get freaked out over the slightest drizzle, or a little cold snap of 50 degrees. It's ridiculous.

But people in Buffalo sure ain't "weak" about weather, that's for damn sure. I've lived for extended periods in my life in upstate NY, in Madison WI, and in San Luis Obispo, CA. So in NY and WI, I've experienced tons of snow and plenty of below-zero conditions.

All I can say is, yeah-- if this were the 70's, the game would go on. But we did tons of stupid shit in the 70's that we don't do know. I'm sure that if this game was re-located, it's due to a legitimate risk for safety to thousands of people. When snowfall is as extreme as they're predicting, it's foolish to be out on the roads unless it's an emergency.

If the snow will be measured in feet, the interstates and state highways will be closed. Simple as that.

I own a small company in buffalo and have been commuting there for almost 7 years. It's not bad driving, but when the snow is falling at 2" per hour it can get ugly very fast. Smart to cancel the game now but I'm sure the stadium would be packed even if 6 feet were out there. They'll have the roads cleared by then.

I just know that since local news goes to DEFCON 4 with around the clock coverage for overpasses (showing how bad things are, even if it's not), it even affects people in Buffalo (city proper). Now if they get enough Jack Daniels in 'em, they are showing up without shirts on....lol...Which I was hoping for and feel cheated over!

Now lets play some Lawn Dart chicken!
