Overall Health, hoping to keep most healthy especially Matthew Stafford.

David Long...If Long steps up, we're good, if not, then we'll be looking at a raw Robert Rochell or the 5'7 Dante Deayon, not bad, but I'd rather the Michigan alum rise to the occasion.

Dean-the-coach

Here is a new coaching viewing.

Brontae Harris

Kareem Orr

It will be a surprise in the preseason if David Long even gets to play ? The Rams need to find depth.Rochelle needs as much experience as he can get.You look at Trey Lance up the 5fwy & can tell I’m happy to be a Rams Fan.To think Sean Mcvay would be going into the 2021 season with a rookie QB would be tough to swallow. The experience Wolford has as The Rams QB & now learning under Matthew Stafford moves the experience chart up more.

I have a feeling Les Snead just found another gem to build with. How Kareem Orr(Brontae Harris) and pushes the competition is a good thing. How it plays out will be interesting come September.

Rochelle & Lance both have solid skill sets.My hope is those freakish combine type numbers Robert will be coached to full potential. He shows excellent ball skills to be a one on one CB.Tackling & getting into the flat before a RB or OL man.
—There is a New 31 in town.

Darius Williams is #11 this 2021 season, which is a odd for a CB.

Biggest concern... I might have 2 that I am watching;

1. The transition to Morris as DC. I don’t have much concern, more so an unknown how he intends to marry his own philosophy with what we did in 2020.

2. Depth at CB. The west is loaded... an injury or missed time by Ramsey and/or Williams taps into our unknown depth.
Good response CGI bringing up new DC Morris. Same thoughts here. I should add that I have a really good amount of respect for DC Morris to be able to field a solid defensive secondary no matter how short I believe the current corner experience & talent is. Rams reserve corners are just :yuky:.

DC Morris & Ejiro Evero, have their work cut out for them depending on the strength of this current defense which are the run-stuffing interior DL'ers & the Safety unit. The OLB'ers appear to be the next concern below our corner cadre.

Still not sure just how many 3 DL's we will see vs 4 defensives down DL'ers. Fans can say what they think about the very good chances the Rams will continue to remain a primary 34 D but I remain skeptical. I just see more healthy edge-down linemen currently here @ to run more of a 43 D. The healthy latent pass rushers look to be assigned to DL coach Henderson ie. Aaron Donald, Eric Banks, Joah Williams, Ernest Brown & John Daka. Whereas the OLB'ers Terrell Lewis, Justin Lawler & Og Okoronkwo have been Mash unit patents.

The rebutt hole if my spelling is correct was about having fun this season & having depth I guess ?

I don’t know how much of the 2020 season you actually watched or remember. To think not having Kevin O’Connell as The Rams OC coming back is not IMPORTANT & Mcvay is The Rams OC is INSANE!! Plus I’ll go back to Bobby Evans on who he first posted about.

1.Those 2 should be really the least of the concern.
2.Having fun ? In a Playoff game did you see what O’Connell had going on against G.B?
3.Wolford was important late in the season. He was The Rams starting QB over Goff in the Playoffs.
4.Bobby Evans started at LG ahead of Joesph Noteboom.Lol - thinking that was not a Statement.
5.Devlin Hodge & Bryce Perkins will be interesting depth players ?How many QB’s will The Rams keep.
6.QB coach Zac Robinson was an excellent piece last season. To think his link with O’CONNELL doesn’t mean anything either then you missed the bus,or caught in front of it making a stand.
7.Xavier Jones is a Player Les Snead likes & said The Rams were prepared for him to be the starting RB in the Playoffs.Funk should be fun to watch with Calais who The SuperBowl Champs cut.

We can go into Carberry & what coaching means to Sean Mcvay. He takes full responsibility & phrases his Staff & veterans who mentoring.I think The change & future is good.A Fresh start & Raheem Morris being the 3rd DC in as many years shows The Rams are doing things right.

3 HC as Mcvay’s coaching tree is starting to bloom another year(season).

The OL worries me a little bit, but at the same time I think they'll be alright.... as long as they stay healthy. Because the depth is.... ass.

My main worries are more so on the defensive side of the ball. We lost coaches Brandon Staley, Joe Barry, and Aubrey Pleasant. So I'm interested in seeing how much of an impact that makes. But with guys like Ramsey and Donald, I think they'll keep this defense hot. The linebackers still make me a bit unsettled though. Wish we were a bit stronger at ILB.

I'm a bit concerned about blitz pickup by Akers or Henderson. With the departure of Malcolm Brown, who was just average at recognizing where the blitz was coming from and then successfully picking it up and keeping Goff clean, he's gone. That duty falls on Akers and Henderson now and THAT should concern McVay and Stafford. Both were clueless last season, which is why neither were in at RB on 3rd and longs.

If Funk makes the team will he be that guy on 3rd and longs? Will they rely on Akers and Henderson? Or will it fall to Stafford to point out who is coming for him?

Is this a legitimate concern or have I had to many beers?

I guess everyone is comfortable with Corbett at center and I hope he's at least adequate there. It seems like the Oline is an afterthought to McSnead and has very low priority in the draft. They rely on QB rollouts and now the ability of Stafford to move around a little better than Goff in the pocket to cover up Oline deficiencies.

Meanwhile we add a speedy, fragile WR like DJ and draft at #57 a speedy WR when we lost our starting center from the previous year. I hope these priorities don't bite us in the ass.

New defensive coordinator. Just because it worked last year does not mean it works this year. Injury to Donald or Ramsey. We are heavily reliant on those two.

An injury to #9 ends any realistic title hopes in an instant....so that

Has Gurley signed? We can sign him to be the third down back.

Nice to see Harris out there making some plays. (y)

I'm not too worried about the OL tbh. I think we could have used another plus talent but they should have a solid OL. Probably better than last year's line. My concern is the defense. Is our DL going to be tough enough while depending on a couple rooks in the rotation. I just think Brock did a lot of good shit last year.

Still excited though. Highest expectations and all that. :cheers2:
