* note on Emory Blake - to think I bro'd down with his dad back in 93 or so when working room service at the major hotels in anaheim - he was with the Jets and was rooming with former falcon Mark Gunn - that guy was huge
anyway, really like him as a QB out of east carolina

and now his son is playing with the Rams.....boy do I feel old

One that hasn't been mentioned yet; Harkey's TD. That was a nice play... he was wide open to the endzone.

that was more of a busted coverage play and Hill capitalized on it... at least thats how I saw it

I have to agree with Cooks 1st down catch. Wasnt an easy catch to make and he made adjustments to the ball. By far the best play of the night IMO

I'll go with Stedman Bailey's TD also. Just because he came back to fight for the ball. Need to see that more often.

Not a particular play, but Gaines was IMO, the best player on the field. Longs INT was sick though.
I was very impressed with his ability to rip the ball out so effectively, hope he can do that consistently this season cuz that would be freaking huge for our defense to have a player with OJ Atogwe skills again.

I still live in Anaheim, and I feel old. 3rd of 4 generation of tackle football, hopeful for 5th, but son hasn't popped that seed yet. He better, or I'm adopting another....

What's funny is not only was there a classmates grandson on those teams but I HAD two sons on the same team

I have to give it to #12 of course!

I also really liked EJ Gaines overall play. He had nice closing speed and great tackling. I also noticed something in Maurice Alexander. I like how he was stepping up on Ingram as opposed to that nasty stiff arm McLeod ate
