so it has to be asked

would you take the bastard as a DC for the Rams if Morris goes elsewhere

and yes, I realize that the arrogant bastard wont lower himself to be just a DC

L-O-L. Tom Brady sucked ass against us in 2018-19. Belichick neutralized McVay and Goff. Belichick wasn't even calling the offense. And in 2001-02, Belichick shut down our unstoppable offense, his defense had a TD, and Brady did next to nothing. Just absurd. It's like claiming Chuck Noll or Tom Landry weren't elite HCs because they didn't have great runs near the end of their careers.
I agree on the whole but in 2001-02 his players had an uncanny knack of knowing our offensive plays until we switched from those scripted in the walkthrough

I dislike the man and Brady because they both cheated. But this is football. They weren't the only team bending and breaking rules to get a competitive advantage. I won't deny the truth (at least the truth as I see it) because I dislike the man.

Belichick was just ahead of his time. He (and Ernie) focused on things other than X and O’s when no one else was. Things like actively scouting and documenting player tendencies for run/pass tells. Or listening/watching “behind the scenes” vids to see if they anything is given away. Now all of that is common practice and BB no longer has an edge or a HOF QB.

Guy pushed the boundaries but imo crossed the line too. He’ll always be a cheater in my book. Smell ya later “goat”.

Yes, but only if he brings Brady out of retirement with him!

To stay out of the war room and just gameplan and call the defense? No hesitation.

Hell, I would’ve entertained bringing in Fisher for a look at DC when Wade was excused.

The Rams made the right choices with both Staley and Morris but hey…

He was the leader one of the most successful dynasties in sports history.

Was he a cheater? Probably but if I'm being honest - I don't know who cheats or who doesn't - or if they all do.

Either way though glad he is gone. if he keeps coaching, I think it's a mistake for him.

He also had a dynasty on being a douche nozzle in press conferences.
He cheated. More than once.
Panthers have to be beside themselves especially after what Stroud has done.
Stroud has played well in a QB friendly offense with a pretty weak schedule. But the way Tepper seems to be, he’s probably fuming. With the upcoming QB class, that trade with the Bears didn’t seem like a good idea then. It looks even worse now.

I was all for Fisher being the Rams DC, if I didn’t think he’d try to undermine McVay.

But Belichick? No thanks. He’s a shit stain in my book.

Mayo will replace McVay as youngest HC in the league. He's a month younger

Nope.
The only position he should be hired for, would be “Opposition Information Informant “.

He's great at exploiting mismatches ... I'll give him that. But he's also a cheating bastard. Don't want him anywhere near the Rams.
