Their mindset shows up on gamedays. Big Whit was a rock for this Oline and they clearly still need a leader like him. Heads will roll this offseason if it doesn't improve quickly.

I’ve never been a fan of challenging players focus or mindset or heart in scenarios like this where the poor performance is clearly related to injuries.

Backups are backups for a reason.

It is what it is. Dumb injury luck.

If you want to point a finger let’s talk Creed Humphrey or Austin Corbett or Saffold or a number of other clear examples of not respecting the value of a solid Oline.

Or just ask Patrick Mahomes or Goff.

Yup. Most of the guys outside of Hav and Note are playing for contracts and careers. They are all highly motivated. They are just either never going to be that good or are sorely lacking in experience. Maybe both.

Injuries are the problem not mindset.

The issues are injuries and depth, neither easily fixable. This is gonna be tough to work through, but luck counts and mayhap we get some of the good....

Hav thinks it’s mindset. It could be that the interior sees themselves as backups and this aren’t expected to be that good.

What bothers me most about our OL is they all seem finesse. Not those mean motherfuckers that want to drive you 10 yards back, knock them on there asses and then drag there ballsack across the defenders face.

And yeah I'm sure I didn't use the right "there".

But in all honesty, they seem so soft and timid and they really bothers me.

Couldn't say it better.

It's the injuries and Whit is way better than Boom and 3 3rd stringers. That says it all.

I just wish we had a line of fucking hogs, like the 80's Redskins. They could pass block just fine, and did, with them running a version of the Coryell offense. But they could absolutely run it down your throat too, with the OL delivering repeated beatdowns on opposing DLs.

Even without the injuries , the starting 5 was below average.
Everyone wanted paid before the season started , so there’s no money for quality oline signings.
Now it’s showing.

I don't think their is a single inside starting lineman on this team that is good. They are all below average IMO. Noteboom and Havenstein are the only talents right now. Even 100% healthy this is not a good OL. Maybe they will get better in time but I'm not high on Edwards, Blythe, Evans or Allen.

They have guys off the street starting, so that's never good. Should get Allen back after the bye week but how much will that help?

The Rams thought they had sufficient backups capable of filling in for the guys they lost. They were wrong. Not sure if this gets fixed this season.

I hate bashing Goff because I love the kid. But to compare is ridiculous first off what you said is exactly right. Stafford won us a Super Bowl Goff was sacked 33 times in one season that was the most and some of those were holding on to the ball for 37 seconds which a lot of us bitched about. Having said that once you get a Super Bowl and enjoy it you can’t return the product in stafford the year after because you were waiting for this I told you so moment. The I told you so moment makes me doubt your fandom sorry and ther is no moment because we completed our mission year one.

As I mentioned earlier Goff sacked 33 times stafford already what 21 times???? On pace for like 70 and the check the pressures as well astronomical can we just continue to root for Goff and move on and focus on how we can
Improve. This is so redundant pointless and okmget Goff back never make the trade. Great no Super Bowl you willing to do that fine if not then why are you talking? It just means you were taking the Super Bowl but biding your time to bash stafford and talk Goff. That’s not a fan that’s just somebody who cares more about being right than the actual team,

McVay and Snead paid too much attention on getting the “glitter” players. Position players that gets the most attention. They forgot about the blue collar players that make the offense work.
