I'm having a hard time getting any work done today. Last night was spectacular and I'm still riding the high.

Looking ahead, I see some real areas of opportunity against TB - and also a few areas of real concern.

Our O / Their D - The Bucs are hard to run on. Top 5 defense against the run. We all know how important it is that we get the running game going, but I don't want to be wasting downs running into walls either. Meanwhile, they are pretty suspect against the pass. I don't want to get into a situation where we are engaged in a shootout - but against the Eagles, without CB Murphy-Bunting, the Bucs played over 50 snaps with 3 safeties on the field. From a flyover perspective, that kind of D is even tougher to run against and even more susceptible to our 11 personnel packages. We may see Stafford carrying us on Sunday.

Our D / Their O - There can be no more debate about it, as painful as it is, Tom is the GOAT. But his offense has problems right now. Down on healthy RBs, and even more importantly, a healthy O-Line. We beat these guys by putting the hits on. Mike Evans and Gronk need to be accounted for - and if Tom can beat us with the other JAGs out there - so be it. Not sure who will be able to go on the O Line - but whether it is their next man up or a hobbled starter - they need to be tested early and often. Tom took some shots in the Philly game. He needs to feel the heat. And we can't let them establish the run at all. We need to jump out on them and put them into drop back mode.
Brady can be beaten with pressure.

We need to activate T Lewis to take out Gronk again

Edit - Man - so many people beat me to the punch

Do we have anyone who is good at rushing the QB?
Playing in his first postseason game since Super Bowl 50, Los Angeles Rams outside linebacker Von Miller led the team with six tackles and recorded a sack in a 34-11 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday evening.
...
On Monday’s “ManningCast” on ESPN2, former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning said Miller was the best athlete he ever played with. Miller showed off his athleticism on Monday, dipping below and running around and through offensive linemen while totaling three tackles behind the line of scrimmage in the big win.
...
Brady called Miller “one of the all-time greats” when the Broncos traded the pass rusher to the Rams mid-season. Their mutual respect and playful online jabs make the Brady-Miller rivalry one one of the best QB vs. defender matchups in the NFL.
Brady and Miller have met in the playoffs twice in the past, most recently in a 20-18 Broncos win over the Patriots in the 2015 AFC championship game. Miller totaled four QB hits, 2.5 sacks and one interception the last time he faced Brady in the postseason.
Overall, Miller has sacked Brady 7.5 times in his career (eight games).

Brady can be beaten with pressure.

Oh yeah, he’ll get a lot of pressure come Sunday, so much that this will be TB12 before and after the game…

I'm pretty sure we match up better going into this divisional playoff game than we did last year. I don't anyone was surprised we lost that one. This time we seem to be better suited for the opponent. The one thing they have to expect is Brady will want to get the ball out quicker. They have to be ready for quick slants and stuff over the middle to Gronk.

You can bet that the Bucs aren't going to make the mistakes the Cardinals did last night. Brady can be forced to make mistakes, but he is not going to melt down like Murray did. We are going to have to apply the pressure early and often. I do not know what Fournette's injury designation is, but we have to take their running game out.

Rams need to make less mistakes as well. A lot of holds, dropped passes, and false starts that killed plays last night. The Buccaneers will not be so forgiving.

We match up well with the Bucs - and they are missing a lot of talent from last year.

But we have to execute.

Agreed. We are definitely a better team this year. Still doesn't guarantee a win but the Rams have a different feel going into this one.

That's what I want to know. How the hell do we keep that ball from getting out by 2 secs??

With calls for either man or pattern matching in zone, and the defender close at the line. It's actually not hard to cover for 2 secs. What is hard is not getting burned for more in the event the QB gets good pass pro on that snap.

You mean "Beating the Bucs & the Zebras"
This is what concerns me the most. Brady always seems to get free reign from the Refs. All I ask is that the game be called fair and square with no 'Brady factor' applied.

Buc fans: "We already saw this Rams team in September"

We lost 5 games this year and all 5 losses were to teams in the playoffs.

We avenged one loss last night, but the other 4 losses all belong to teams left in the divisional round.

We've played the Buccaneers in two playoff games -- they haven't scored a TD yet.

Go Rams !!

Damn. We're gonna know where the winner goes by the time this game rolls around.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Stopping it if the rush can't get home. 1000 cuts...
