Why couldn’t our game be the late game? I work the weekends, and they prohibited the use of iPads while working. So no reddit, but we can listen to the radio???? :wtf:
The problem being its a suck ass radio with a horrible antenna. I have a couple radio apps, but they don’t broadcast the games on the internet??? If I can’t figure this out, I’m hiding my iPad near the radio and tuning in to reddit anyhow, joke em if they can’t take a freak!

Is there a way to listen to the game on the internet without getting DNA rifle blocked?

There are always links posted for the broadcast and I have never had a problem using them from my mobile. Just crank it up or get a blue tooth speaker or something.
I am kinda in the same boat... I will get to watch the second half but I am working a gig... in the middle of saints country.
In fact, if the local crew hadnt insisted on being able to watch the game before load out, I would miss all or most of it.

You mean a reddit link right? Or is it a radio link?

Have you thought about recording it, asking your colleagues to keep the game to themselves and watch it when you get home? If that's an option turn your texting off so someone doesn't spoil it for you.

The reddit links work great, that would be my suggestion if you have your phone or ipad. Just google "reddit NFL streams" and when you click on our game, choose the link that says "Buffstream." These are almost always the best links to use.

I was just informed this week that my Mon-Thurs schedule will be changing to Sun-Wed on Feb 3 SB Sunday. I will be able to stream the game on my phone while driving from call to call. Probably shouldnt watch while driving though.

Yep. As others have stated, use the reddit NFL Streams thread. In my experience, it operates from your phone better as a regular website than using the reddit app.

When using my phone, I have trouble closing the one buffstream ad to watch the game. It could be because I have an old DROID, but when I go mobile, I use the second link whatever it is. Its just as fine.

Also, since this is nationally televised, the NFL App should stream it for free.

Dont open the internet and turn off the radio until you get home. And you can fast forward through commercials so its even better.

Yeah, every time I have needed and asked for a link in the GDT, somebody comes through with a solid Buffstream link. ROD is cool like that.
Never a problem.

you can download the tunein radio app and listen there. there is a subscription fee but you should be able to get a 7 day free trial so just do that and cancel subscription anytime before 7 days are up and you are charged

i worked a lot of saturdays and sundays over the years and have always used that app for college and nfl games

A good idea in theory, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve recorded a Rams game— only to have it ruined by someone telling me the outcome.

If you want to avoid premature score-telling ruination, you have to act like a misanthropic Helen Keller. Avoid all human contact. Look at nothing. Hear nothing. Try not to smell anything, either.
And wear a blindfold at all times (as in “Birdbox”)— even while driving—just to be safe.

if we lose power from this winter storm barrelling down on us, with forecast calling for 3-6 inches of snow, then about an inch of ice on top of that, I will be streaming via reddit

Others here are absolutely right on using reddit streams. That's my new game connection. And it works better on my android than on my home TV because of less buffering.

Happy to be off on weekends here. I used to work weekends when I was doing security many years ago. Missed a few games but I remember watching some of the Rams beating the Seahawks for the 3rd time back in 2004 on T.Rowe Price's cafeteria TV.

The reason we are the early game is that the NFL flips the NFC and AFC Championships every year... next year the NFC will be the late game.

Oh... and you will call in sick as hell. Do it tonight just to make sure.

Well, best of luck my Ram Brother, but I will admit one of the best games I ever watched was when the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1980 NBA Finals and that game was on tape delay and I already knew the outcome. No stress, just kept laughing at the Sixer fans and telling them, it's over....Boy I really enjoyed that.

I've been pretty fortunate. In over 40 years of working I never had to work on a Sunday. I only had two different employers the last 32 years and never had to work Saturdays in those jobs.

The only one who could prevent me from watching was my wife. If its a Rams playoff game she ain't gonna win. Its not an option to even think about making me do something different that day. She learned that early on. Now she just makes a party of it. (y)
