Bradford should offer to play for the rams for the league minimum. He's made the most amount of unwarranted salary in league history. He owes the league. He owes the fans who believed in him. He owes the rams for giving him the richest rookie contract.

He owes nothing to anyone. This is ‘Merica and we can be overpaid here and hold our heads up high.

Blake Bortles

That poor (well paid in the past) bastard got fucked in Jax. He didn't do a lot to help himself either... but I bet McSlay could work wonders with him just like he did with Goff. I wonder where Blake's head is though.

No fucking way to Bridgewater.

Mannion knows our Offense... but he's just too tall for my liking. I pray that he only ever sees mop up duties for us and never has to go out on the field to win a game.

Backup QBs give me nightmares no matter who they are though.

Well the good thing for Bortles is that if he takes a year as a back up for McVay, he probably will be set up for a Head Coaching job next season

Honestly, if we were going the veteran route, I think putting Fitzpatrick in a system where he had clearly defined reads and lots of play-action would be an ideal fit. Fitz always suffered from the Peter Principle. He would play super well and the OCs would take the reigns off and he would implode with interceptions. Some of Fitz's greatest success came from offenses that had super clear reads and took a lot of guess work out of the equation for him (see Chan Gailey, Buffalo).

That being said, I don't know that he offers much in the way of downfield throwing strength. Then again, all backups have warts.

You need these guys, then....

I get the whole Kardashian syndrome that has become a new form of the American dream, but if it were me, I'd do exactly that. No bullshit. I figure I've made over 100 mill (barely) playing a game I love and since I've been so fortunate, and given the circumstances, I'm gonna do something classy to show my appreciation. I mean whats the most someones gonna offer anyway.

I seriously can't get the Allen love here. How can anyone who couldn't even beat out Mannion be any kind of answer?

Of that list, I would consider Fitz or Bortles (probably too high a price tag) or sticking with Mannion. I really don't think anyone can honestly say what Mannion has more than the coaches and they stuck with him last season. I suppose we'll just have to stay tuned. Even if we used a draft pick, I can't imagine the coaches relying on that QB taking over for Goff so we'd no doubt still be in the same boat regardless.

Id take Bridgewater easily but hes waaayyy out of our price ramge and he wants to start.....rightfully so.

Of qbs we can afford, I'd lean towards fitz. He's not scared to wing it and he may be the one who would concern defensive coordinators the most. Plus he can let weddle apply his beard oil for good luck.

Nah. I’m not hung up on Mannion. I just don’t buy that Allen is a better option. I also don’t see how we sign a higher dollar option. But then, I see the cap numbers thrown around every year and we still end up signing a couple that we “can’t afford”.

They wanted Allen over Bortles for a while in Jax; outplayed Bortles before coming to LA.

I just like him as a former Razorback over-achiever.

AJ McCarron got cut today.... maybe he'd be worth a look.... and we need to draft a QB as well...

I like Tyree Jackson out of U of Buffalo

I'm not a fan. Guys like him just don't pan out. If you look at the players who have been steals on Day 2 and 3 at QB, they were typically guys who were lacking in the prototypical physical talent (whether that's size, arm strength, mobility, etc.) but made up for it in other areas. Guys who are elite in terms of the prototypical talent go in the first round if they're competent to good in the other areas. If they're available on Day 2 or Day 3, they have some major issues.
