I just don't see how they're going to manage his time studying. It's great to have a fallback so they can try to get out of the contract, but it's hard to imagine how that works. Some combination of software and coaches being engaged I'm sure but still sounds hard to pull off.
He has a team ipad/tablet and they'll track use of it away from practice.

Lol, now they remove that provision from the contract after the shit storm it caused. A little late now. The damage is done. Kyler Murray showed how thin skinned he is when people criticize him.

How's he gonna take it when he has a bad game and is criticized for his play? Is he gonna sulk in the corner? Break out the XBOX?

If I'm a Cards fan I'd be really concerned about how this is all handled. First, his work ethic is pretty much confirmed when the team has to force him to watch game film.

Then he gets all offended by the comments he has to have a press conference to convince people his work ethic isn't as bad as they think.

In reality he's basically showing everyone how thin skinned he is by crying about it. Then the team relents and removes it from the contract so there won't be anymore temper tantrums from him.

And he can go back to playing video games after practice.

The front offices of the other teams have to be laughing their asses off over this. Nothing worse than a chickenshit front office that can't own it in that moment they need to. And the owner. Where the fuck is he on this. He's probably the type of guy who distances himself from shit and questions his leaders when tough times hit.

What they should have done is told him "the fact you didn't read the clause proves our point, now stfu and enjoy your fat paycheck."

I wonder how many guys don’t read their contracts, the agent gives them the numbers, they sign on the line and they’re done?
I love the part where it’s disrespectful for US to question Murray’s work ethic but his boss just threw him under the bus in front of the whole nfl.

I hope he starts out great, as always. He will blast the media for thinking he doesn't have a work ethic. He will get cocky and play more video games. Then he will have a couple of bad games and the questions will eat him up. "Do you think you studied enough this week?" It will get in his head, but he won't change just to prove to himself he doesn't need to and the next thing you know. Same old cardinals.

I figure the Cards are going to be tough. Rams should be the better team for sure but Zona is going to need a good beatdown to keep them in line. We can't be letting them whoop our asses early this year I want the Rams in the driver's seat in the division all the way through.

Is there an online configurator that allows one to pick each game each week? I know one goes up toward the end of the season to help folks figure out who might make the post season, but wonder if there’s one out now for this season?
