They say they want to get bigger on the OL then they start Anchrum who is undersized at OG? IMO he could be a place holder for McClendon who IMO was drafted to play RG.

Regarding Bruss, he played his college career at OT. Not all OT's can make the transition to OG. It's a completely different technique and Wendell understands that. IMO Wendell decided it would be better to keep Bruss at OT at least this season. Then give him another complete year to see if he stays at OT or can make the transition to OG.

If Noteboom solidifies his start at LT then IMO Jackson will move to RT with Bruss and Thomas as swing OTs.

I'm somewhat surprised they aren't playing McAllister at RG. If they are looking at him as a future center then a year at RG would help him in his development.

I can attest that Anchrum is huge in person (website says 313lbs but I'd say higher) if not a "tall" lineman. Couldn't vouch for his arm length. What makes you think he's undersized?

Yeah - I keep thinking he’s undersized, but that was more as a RT.
When The Rams drafted him he seemed more mature than his age. There was thought that he could even play center?
Seeing him live at RG ,I keep thinking he is to small. There is no way he is to small though. Can’t tell him apart from any other linemanHe actually looks bigger than Steve Avila when you look at the starting 5 as of now.
—I wonder your thoughts, because I just posted how bad that LBGTQ chick who is in charge of the site can’t (or hasn’t) updated players size.
There is no way Alaric Jackson is 277 lbs. There is also no way Hoecht is even close to 300(10) lbs EVER as a RAM!!

Where Oldbutnotdead gets this must be from that site(Rams). It’s frustrating.

Tell me this westcoastram ,what weight do you think Hoecht is playing at & VanVuk is about the same size. Just from a blind eye

Listed player weight is always suspect to me.
I forgot if Jourdan said/wrote Alaric is down to 330 this year or down from 330. Either way.. he’s about 330.
I am very curious about Hoecht’s actual weight.. Akers too.

From what I saw yesterday... unless we're playing some form of stealth edge... we're probably in some trouble there.

Well - I have hope for a couple of the young Rams. Zach Van has a nice motor.
B. Young really shows ability & upside. He knows when to turn it on.
Hoecht is the player The Rams are counting on though to really step up.

The Rams should run a lot of packages out there.Sean Mcvay from what it sounds like is going to really try to figure it out during the preseason.
-The Rams Defense WILL be TOUGH in the PRESEASON!! What comes if it is another thing.

At 6’2” and 314 lbs he’s heavier than Bruss, Shelton, Jackson, and just 5lbs below Noteboom.
Where’s your scale.mines is grams only & doesn’t go up to more than 3lbs

Joking aside those numbers actually look about right

WAY OFF !! With all respects, hard to see with blinders.

Think I might have to get the NFL package this season though ?

Some final thoughts and observations from todays TC. Rams offense looks good. Better depth at each position, except for maybe TE.

Edge has a ways to go. DB's, there is talent there, but raw. Not very deep at LB.

We're not going to really know what this team will do until they play against another team.

Akers,Nacua, Robinson, Atwell and X Smith stood out to me today on O. Some good coverage by DB's, with their shirts rolled up, hard to get #'s.
