Tony Softli - Friday, April 5, 2013 - (Currently Playing)
Our NFL Insider Tony Softli joins the Fast Lane and breaks down his latest mock draft.
I wish Venturi was still on. I really liked his stuff.

Lotta changes over there at 101ESPN. Bernie's leaving too, so who's going to fill the void?

You know who I'd like to see get a permanent spot on that show? Gus Frerotte.
That dude could break down a game like nobody I've ever heard. VERY smart guy.

In this one instance maybe head butting a wall was a good thing.

lol. Sometimes that's all it takes, man. Struck by lightning, self-imposed concussion/neck injury - whatever.

I will miss Venturi, I think he was almost always spot on with his analysis, in fact, I think he was the best Rams guy out there in terms of breaking it down.

Thanks guys, but I have a face for TV, and a voice for silent movies. That coupled with my fear of speaking in public, and my acute microphobia--might just be a deadly combination :hehe:

Frerotte is currently a HC at a local HS in St. Louis, which has been to the state title game for high school's class and has lost 3 straight title games.

I do remember him being on the post game show a few seasons ago, though.

Interesting. I didn't know that.

Well, if he gets tired of losing title games, he can always get a gig at 101. He really was very good.
