Are we assuming Bobby Evans will be cut? Going into year 4 he still does not look good out there.
Hey snackdaddy, The Rams are in a much better situation @ OT than in the 3 interior posts {outside our starters}.

RT Evans has started playing 2 complete preseason games @ RT a post in college that he had his fame to claim & it is his best possible post. He & #2 center Jeremiah Kolone are the only two reserve OL'ers who have remained in the same post.

As you know Evans has an NFL brief history @ the RT post & was steady there for the last half of the 2019 rookie season. Evans was moved to the interior & the results for 2020 /2021 were poor. Evans has been on a continuing downward trending path since that 2019 event.

Carberry primarily played Evans, Bruss, Kolone, Anchrum & Jackson as his 2nd team OL in the preseason. Brewer, Arcuri & a little Snyder as 2nd half relievers for the two top main reserves which are Jackson & Ancrhum. Of the 8 OL'ers on the field with this offense, Bobby Evans has performed the worse.

Evans has well proven he is not an NFL-caliber reserve OG & now is well into proving the same @ the RT post. Believe it or not, Evans might still be awarded an MR53 position due to:

#1-IR'd event of reserve RG Logan Bruss. Then add in the Uninspiring 2-game performance by top reserves #2-OC Kolone, #3-Swing OT Jackson & #4-Swing OG Anchrum. However, the other 3 reserves OL'er Arcuri, Brewer & even Snyder played better in the Texan gm.

I would hope that Carberry will bench Evans for the 3rd gm & provide Jackson & Arcuri the opportunity to demonstrate they are better options to help this 2022 OL as the reserve RT.

Here are some of my random opinion nuggets in rewatching the Texan game.

In the Texan game, the best DL'er on the field for the 4 quarters was by far Jonah Williams who usually lined up in the middle close to the center. When only 2 DL'ers were on the field he lined up @ RDT. IMO this was his best game as a pro. Williams has put on muscle & weight. He is much thicker & stronger. In the past, we have seen him playing DE or at times the ER posts.

Rams' Jonah Williams named a 'Secret Superstar' of preseason Week 2

.......recording four tackles, one sack, a tackle for a loss and a forced fumble in 40 snaps played.
