Really looking forward to seeing what this big guy brings to this defense and how it helps AD. The biggest impact will be the run game but I'm hoping he is able to eat up enough space to free up AD a bit more in passing game like Suh used to. Hopefully we won't have any new injuries and that Seattle game will have us almost at full strength again with return of Fuller. Obo probably a bit farther than that.

He'll likely be activated after the 8th game per the tweets unless I'm missing something. All they did was allow him to practice with the team instead of in solo drills.

As of the day he is activated to begin practicing the Rams have 21 days to put him on the active roster or IR. So whenever they deem him ready he can play. So would depend on what kind of shape he is in I'd guess.

If the player returns to practice, the team has three weeks to decide to place him on the active roster or on the injured reserve list.

Edit: Sorry just saw that they have to miss 6 weeks of practice AND 8 games if on NFI so you are right it won't be until Seattle no matter what at this point.

Yeah I feel like it will mostly mirror our year with Suh. Unless Staley uses him in a completely different way....

Yup this isn't activation this is allowing him to practice with the team. It's the first step towards activation for sure though.

Dude looks toned, muscular and fit. I thought he was more of a thick/beefy body type dude. But looks more in the AD body type (nobody is AD mind you).

Was thinking he looked a lot like Brockers there. If you took his head off and switched numbers I'd think it was Brockers. Could be angle of photo though but he definitely looks a little slimmer compared to his Detroit days. Would make sense since they signed him to replace Brockers initially before Ravens reneged on that contract.

Rams need him at 5T vs the better run fronts. In fact the Rams have been showing a little bit of Gaines at NT and SJD at 5T so I could see 99 come off in certain situations that are run-heavy to get a blow while Robinson stuffs it up with those two.

He adds options to the defense and that is a good thing. Just hope he's in shape cardio-wise.

This what I thought would happen. Activated a week or so before the bye to play after it. I wouldn't be surprised if there were also PS moves made during the bye.

Last season Kromer got his guy Corbett who almost helped The Rams make the playoffs.
