Just increase the games to 22 with 4 byes. That should help prevent injuries.
HAHA....and whatever you do, no matter how many games you extend the season by, don't expand the roster and cost the owners a few more bucks....in the name of keeping players healthy, we will play more games and not expand the roster, haha.

I don't see Keir or Brayden Thomas as candidates for Robinson snaps but either (or Van Valkenburg) are options at Edge where, I believe, the Rams currently have just two players (Floyd and Lewis). I really like how Keir Thomas looked in the pre-season games.

There are always a couple players that the Rams coaches seem to like and prefer, that I think to myself "Why?" and "What do they see in this guy?". Copeland is one of those guys. I would prefer to see more Jonah Williams and Michael Hoecht.
Copeland has been solid in rotation this year.
He doesn't generate much pressure but has been solid against the run.
Lewis is the invisible man out there.

For a UDFA.. Copeland's been a solid find.
What they need is for Brown to show he can be a starter.. like SJD.
If Brown can do that.. they can go into next season with those two.. and add a minimum older vet and draft pick.. and should be okay on the line if they lose both Gaines and Robinson.
The key to that plan is Brown, imo. Copeland is a solid player.. Brown has the physical traits to do some damage.

17 games is too long of a season for NFL football players IMO.

It has become a game of survivor.

The players are so highly tuned… it works against longevity within a season. IMO

What does this do for Ashawns value this spring in FA? Will he be low enough now for us to be able to resign him? If he does leave, it certainly makes his comp pick value less beneficial to us.

I’d rather be able to keep him as he’s out best run defender

I agree.
From what I can remember Brown didn't get into the game until very late.
I would like to see him get meaningful reps.....the season is over....lets see what some of the youngsters can do.
I would sit Rapp post haste and play Yeast.
Give Brown and some other some reps as well.

Rapp is getting 100% of snaps.. whatever people think of him.. doesn't look like he's getting benched anytime soon.

I want to see more Brown, for sure.

Good to see Donald playing less than 80% of the snaps. Let's keep that up.

Hoecht had more snaps than Donald!! lol... but, more relevant he had more than 4X as many snaps as Lewis. Someone pointed out Lewis not giving effort.. is it that or is he hurt? Either way.. he's shaping up as a wasted pick.

Lewis has never been able to transition his athleticism to production....same could be said for Hoecht to this point. He flashed some rush versus KC. Maybe that was a match up thing.
Donald had a high ankle sprain, so, that explains his lack of snaps.
We know what Rapp is at this point.....get Yeast in and see what he can do.....get Durant more reps....Brown more reps....Hoecht more reps.
The difference between finishing with 4 wins and 6 wins doesn't mean much....Id rather get a feel for depth for next year and or possible replacements.
One positive about all of the OL issues.....the only positive....is it certainly clarifies the need for depth along the OL.
Skura has been overall positive so far.
He should be brought back for veteran depth, at a low price, for the interior line. He is a vet with a lot of starting experience (knows how to prepare) and is certainly a step up from Evans and Kolone.
I want to see a lot more Tutu on those long crossing routes. The Rams have said they view him as a receiver, then let him run some routes for Gods sake. Bizarre decision making by the powers that be this year. Our likely WR core this coming week will be what....Jefferson, Skowronek, Tutu and Powell....let Tutu take Powells snaps, he should not leave the field the next couple of weeks.
