If the Rams end up prioritizing ILB in the draft then I'd like them to slide down and take Chris Paul. I think his combination of mobility, short area quickness, and run stopping would greatly benefit our defense. Though taking Campbell at 26 would be fine too. I just think Paul is going to be exceptional in the NFL.
If the TEs are picked over by the time 26 comes around and slot is the priority I'd like them to slide down and take Restrepo, who would round out our WR room perfectly with a shifty underneath weapon who is very hard to stop. Then they can circle back and hit TE in round 3.
If the Rams prioritize a young QB then I'd like them to take Dart at 26. It would suck from the weapon point of view to not use that pick to juice things for Stafford, but I understand that Stafford is probably gone next year. So prioritizing a guy who fits with McVay might be more important than we realize. If that is the case and Dart's off the board (which is feeling likely right now) then Shough is a possibility but at that point I'd favor a move down to accrue another pick and go get McCord later. Though I would not be against Shough, just very concerned since he seems fragile.
Re: players you just take if they're on the board at 26: S Starks. RB Hampton. DL Nolen. Starks changes our defense and what they can do from disguise to diversity of calls. Hampton adds gamebreaking speed in form of a poor man's Gurley. Nolen makes our DL elite as a unit and deep with an ability to rotate and shut down top OL.
If McVay is thinking about a big and physical back, which is probably not the case, then drop down and take Skattebo. He is far more athletic and a better receiver than given credit for and he is hard to bring down. A secondary option is Martinez and there are others but I really like Skattebo in this offense.
I don't think CB will be strong at 26 and overall I am not a huge fan of this class. Hunter goes off top 5. Barron almost surely will be off the board by 26. So if they want to prioritize corner then drop down, add some draft value, and take their preferred option.
