That's the best article on Sean McVay - the person, the coach, and the leader - I've ever seen. And Raheem Morris, Veronika, his parents deserve major kudos for imparting all those life lessons, for being there. Nobody can succeed on their own, nor should they have to succeed alone.

Great article. It really drives home the reality that he is burning bright and hot. Hopefully he can keep it up and finds a tempering force. Be it Veronika or someone/something else. I was a little disheartened to see that he withdrew from the team after the rough November.

Some nice nuggets in there that really shine a light on our legendary coach.

Mcvay is truly a Godsend for us. Such a relentless competitor with a divine mix of humility and ambition.

I worry a little bit about him. He is so obsessed and consumed with winning but that is also what makes him such a great football coach.

"War and Peace" was shorter.
Yeah, when I post articles like this I usually will edit it up to make it pretty since copying and pasting them will make them a bit rough to look at but this one was a bit more voluminous than I was willing to deal with lol.

great insight to the man who is coaching our team. now I understand a bit more about his mindset in game and out. he is really normal and flawed like all of us but talented to the extreme and driven to perfection in a high-pressure world. go rams.

absolutely the best article on sean mcvay i've ever read...

only bitch i have was the part where he said mcvay was just an OC and had no input or knowledge about defense or special teams....

it's that kind of not doing the research shit that i hate in reporters, but still, this article was epic....

it was reported by, i don't know who, that sean mcvay went into the defensive meeting, and began to talk defense with the players and coaches and both were impressed with his insight and knowledge of exactly what they could or should be doing in certain circumstances...

i wish i could quote the article, i'm just not that tech savvy...

by the way, it was wade phillups that was impressed... along with others...

anywho...

go rams

Football coaches go into dark places after losing. The car ride after a loss reminded me of the George Allen article IIRC written by his daughter or from her perspective. I think McVay has bigger/better support group with his parents around.

I never thought he would leave the
Rams and coaching for a lot longer. Let's enjoy it while he is here. Real insightful article. I've been critical as others have about his in game management on time outs and some play calling. It was great that he an Stafford went back to the run game more after the losing streak. I appreciate Sean's work ethic much more now. I may still be critical at times but would not want any one else coaching the Rams.
