Not really a huge difference in cap this year. Maybe they planning for the next 5-6 years which is still dumb asf where you could easily get cheap RB’s in the draft and still pay Hopkins. Smh.

What I'm reading is Hopkins wanted a new deal and BoB didn't want to pay a WR that much so he took a RB he didn't need that's signed for 2 years and got a 2nd rounder they needed. Horrible business IMO but it's just my opinion.

ya I can't help but think there was a better deal out there for trading Hopkins, just a bad deal for Houston imo, Zona got to be doing a happy dance right now.

Don't have the details but Houston will be taking on all of DJ's bloated salary. Hopkins is said to be ready and wanting a new deal so AZ will have to pony up there.
