No he was just at OTA's not in rehab. Rehab was much earlier in the year and before we were talking about it here.He is currently in rehab

It’s looking like we kind of need him to.CJ Daniels is going to surprise people.
I don't doubt teams will try to make adjustments. What adjustments do you have in mind that they will make?Yup. And yes we all love Puka and Adams, but we have to be realistic. Puka plays a style that will get him injured more than most receivers and Adams will be 34 this year. I'm convinced we'll sign or trade for someone. Last thing McVay wants is to be limited in his play calling. Teams will adjust to the extra TEs. He's going to want the flexibility of multiple looks.
No clue, but my best guess is more safeties with the extra safeties playing up.I don't doubt teams will try to make adjustments. What adjustments do you have in mind that they will make?
Yeah, he is a little Van Jeffersony. Doesn't just go get the ball. Hopefully a big jump this year.Seems like the Rams have more faith in Mumpfield than we do. We'll see. There were some promising flashes last year, but he has to do a better job of finishing catches. I wouldn't expect Klare to make a huge impact as a rookie, but I'm open to being pleasantly surprised. CJ Daniels could be an interesting one. Needs to clean up his route running, but he has savvy and the ability to make contested catches. Not going to expect much from a 6th round rookie, but it's possible he surprises. I wouldn't be surprised if the Rams add a vet to the WR room.
Don't agree there. He went after the ball, but he struggled securing it from hits or contact with the ground.Yeah, he is a little Van Jeffersony. Doesn't just go get the ball. Hopefully a big jump this year.
Can we trade all our TE's for Brock Bowers?
It seems we are heading toward 05 personnel with a bunch of JAGs.
05 Personnel will be funnybut likely not effective.

Yeah, agree here. I haven't watched any highlights vids on him, but in the game highlights vids he seemed to get his catches over the middle, in traffic frequently, and taking the hit after the catch. He is pretty good in that situation over all , I thought.Don't agree there. He went after the ball, but he struggled securing it from hits or contact with the ground.
60 receptions from 114 targets to Davante is ugly.
Mumpfield IMO, should have secured the catch against Seattle, which would have put the Rams ahead. Agree, he needs to work on securing the football going to the ground. Also he seems to have average separation from his breaks underneath, that is why, he cannot separate and throws off the timing of the route.Don't agree there. He went after the ball, but he struggled securing it from hits or contact with the ground.
Jefferson was a significant deep threat in his prime year, Mumpfield is not. So yea, don't agree either.Don't agree there. He went after the ball, but he struggled securing it from hits or contact with the ground.
No we are not and we are not forgetting that Ferguson was not healthy early, which stunted some of the development. We had over 100 catches from TE's. And seems many are forgetting Ferguson exists.
CJ Daniels is 6'2" and ran below 4.5 at home pro day.I disagree, as you see with Puka and Adams (and Kupp, Woods, Robinson, etc...) there's enough separation that they gain YAC, very little YAC available with this kid.
As it stands now, he's a small possession receiver. He can be a useful player and maybe he takes a jump in year two (this is coming as someone who saw flashes in college from him) but more likely he's a solid 4 or 5 but then if he can't offer ST help...

The discrepancy in targets with Fergy is concerning but I think that will improve. Combine him and Stafford not being on the same page and him needing to improve in contested catch situations and we should see the rec to target ration shrink.
