Apps you want other people to know about.

I recently started using WAZE. It's a turn-by-turn navigation app that utilizes (probably) Google Maps, but it has a lot more features. It lets users tell you about traffic jams, construction zones, roadside hazards, and even where cops may be hiding. And if that wasn't enough, you can download Morgan Freeman's voice to tell you where to go. He doesn't pronounce every road or anything (basically just tells you a mile out and a 1/4 mile out where to turn), but there are a few funny easter eggs in there when he's talking too.

Spotify or Pandora work really well with T-mobile service. The streaming data from these apps doesn't count towards your allotted data for the plan

For music lovers like me who can never remember who sings what

Ever hear a old song on the radio and you can't remember who sang it , or even a new song , and you want to find out the name of the song and who sings it , when the song is playing on the radio , just whip out your Shazam , click listen , and in about 5 seconds , it'll let you know the name of the song and who sings , and other stuff ,

This app comes in pretty handy for me

Credit Karma is free and has a phone app. very good site. (yes, the "suggested" bank/credit cards on site pay them so its free for you). explains to you how your credit rating is determined and how it changes depending on things (pay off credit card, open/close accounts, etc.) you do financially. i ended up finding a very good refinance for my car loan (2.41%) that probably wouldnt have been available from the original creditor.

this is probably more useful to office / legal / business oriented jobs. i needed to send copies of paperwork for a shipment to canada and had no access to main office area. so i took some pics with the app (makes a PDF file out of the picture taken) and sent them to my boss who sent them along ahead of the delivery.
