Anyone get that feeling?

With 31 other teams laughing at our 70 drop backs last week, I’m pretty sure we won’t run any less, that’s for sure.

As far as McVay setting up future opponents. The answer is no for me. He’s a humble dude but until he’s humbled he still thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room. He game planned a passing attack last week and all it did was induce more passing. Quite sure he was trying to defeat the Bucs with that game plan and not the rest of the league. Jmo.
McVay told me he doesn't have an account here, but he asked me to ask you to hold his beer.

"Jared Goff shatters NFL record with 124 passing attempts, 90 completions for 893 yards."
If we were going to lose the way we did, I wish Jared at least broke the passing yards record. Would be cool to have a Ram break the record.

Fantasy owners of Goff afterwards

Got to start fast against Seattle and put them on their heels but running the ball will be key. Doesn't matter what level of football you are talking or who you are playing, you have to be able to run the ball and stop the run. It's time for this OL to show us they can win with the ground game!!!!!! GO RAMS!!!!!

There isn't some magical switch Kromer can press to make our guys start blowing people off the line.

Does it seem like we are pulling and moving lineman as much as last year? It feels less to me.

The line needs to mesh and figure this out, they are missing blocks and guys are coming in untouched.

Also cant commit dumb penalties on first down, very hard to run the ball on first and 15.

Let's go mcvay ! Let's see how he fixes this

I think they had to change the ZBS scheme to compensate for the six man front. I don't think that fits the OL skill set as well either.

I’d like to see a max protection. Pull a wr and put in an extra guard. We still have 2 wr 1 te and an rb to pass to

I could see it going either way in terms of play calling.
I could see an up tempo pass centered game plan to open the game.
To offset the crowd noise and to attack their weakness on D.
My concern is our D stopping the run.
If you are going to bear Seattle you have to play good run D because they are not going to stop running it.
Run it run it run it.....get Peters one on one and attack down field.
Whatever.
Will be interesting to see how McVay play calls but I am really interested his how the Rams D bounces back from a garbage performance.

I wonder if McVay went into Tampa game thinking Tampa's secondary is beat up, so we can throw it on them and keep Gurley fresh for the short week in Seattle where they will need to ride him more.

Of course they fall behind big early and thus Goff ends up with 70 drop backs.

I expect a lot of passing. Seattle's secondary can be beat. Their strength is the front 7.

The problem is that our passing game is a function of our play action. No running game means our passing vibe is totally different and doesn't help is their strength gets to pin their ears back every play.

Also, haven't we said that for 5 weeks now???

I don't disagree, but something's got to give, doesn't it?

I expect some shorter/quicker passes to get the chains moving early. McVay has to mix in some runs. He needs to get the offense in a good rhythm early. Get the darn plays in early and give Goff time on the clock. I don't see the Rams pounding the ball down the Hags throat but, it would be nice. I see the Rams mixing it up a little more this game.
