Said his team played a clean game. Also said he knows there's a history with the Rams defensive coordinator and he would "leave it at that."

Yeah because the Rams are the only team to hit a qb going into a slide. They're the only ones who have injured a qb. Get out of here with that nonsense.

Just saw this during the Denver/Indianapolis game.
Zimmer said something along the lines of "they have a history of that, with the defensive coordinator up there."

If Zimmer honestly thinks that Joyner was INSTRUCTED by Williams to take out Bridgewater, he's delusional and I question his sanity. Why would a coordinator, after being suspended and fined by the NFL, purposely order another "bounty" on a QB...knowing that all eyes would be on him?

Zimmer is a fucking pussy and a whiny little bitch. Had it been the other way around, no one would bat an eye right? Your QB slid, got hit (legally or illegally is besides the point) and he got hurt. It happens. It's football.

"I thought it was a very hard fought game, I know we played very clean on our side".

"I do know that, there is a history there is with their defensive coordinator. I'll leave it at that".

Fuck off man. Maybe get a QB who doesn't run like a retard. I'm glad he got hurt now. Have fun going 1-7 the rest of the year.

If you watch it in real time you see Joyner didn't have much time to react. Stop whining about it, it's football. I hate how weak the game has become.

I guess coaches don't call out players on opposing teams. That hit wasn't clean. We all know that. But it's not on Williams.

Looked to me in the slo-mo that Joyner tried to pull up at the very last second. Obvious penalty but I didn't think it was purposefully dirty.

Let him cry. Let's go take care of business the rest of the year and see them again in the playoffs with Quinn, Havenstein, McDonald, and Long. And we'll shut him up then.

Oh, he must confuse our football with what we (Americans) call soccer. It's a sport for athletes who are pussies. The women play harder then the men.

Ha! Yeah it was an accidental shoulder and forearm to the head of a sliding QB. I mean that happens, right? LOL!

Waaaaaaa...
Cry me a fucking river, Zimmer.
Bridgewater wants to run? Consider the consequences.
You know, for all the praise this kid gets about being "analytical" and "thinks too much," he sure didn't think that by running he would expose himself to that kind of punishment. Legal or not (we can make cases for both).

Fuck Zimmer.

It looked more like a flop than targetting. And why would GW order anyone to take out the QB knowing the Rams are lost every game where they knocked out the starting QB of their oponent?

The OL will have grown up by then, and the Gurley Express! will have at least 200 yards.

I wish I could like this post more than once.
Bridge water just gave the team the lead and the 2 pointer with his feet.
Then the Rams are gun shy to hit the punt returner as he appeared OB. Just makes me shake my head

Exactly. That happened twice today. Guy got near the OOB line and the Rams pulled up because they knew they'd get flagged and the ball carrier took it for a bunch more yards.

I don't think GW ordered anything...but I said it when they brought him in....we have target on us, a "reputation" that he brings with him. Add in his interview a while back where he was the complete opposite of apologetic, and well you are kinda asking for it.

Maybe he is worth, heck of a DC, but you take a risk bringing in a guy like that. You know the refs, the league, and other teams will watch you closer (similar to bringing in a player like Suh).

That said he has taken the D to the next level, they are aggressive all out all the time, and fun to watch.

Definitely worth it.
